This and one in black.
The western style doesn’t do it for me but I really like the idea of having snaps. So combining my favourite style with snaps is everything I never knew I wanted.

RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
@Alex
Dammit, I only just discovered this brand a few weeks ago. It’s everything I like. Heavy duty, high quality, motorbikes, blacks, whites, blues and killer flannels.
Hopefully I’ll be lucky enough to get some if they ever re-appear. I can’t see myself going anywhere in hurry now that I’ve found IH. -
RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
@jimcasey just checking out a pair of 633’s on Selfedge and couldn’t find UES on their site.
Corlection in Australia does though. Their flannels look bloody nice. God damn it, collecting cheap shitty Chinese Dixxon “flannels” was so much cheaper, but got sick of having to keep trimming all of the loose threads on each new purchase.
So foolishly I went looking on YouTube to find some better quality flannels. Bought a couple of Pladra flannels, then an Iron heart flannel then IH 3 flannels, then IH jeans, IH jumpers, then samurai t-shirts, now I like the look of UES.
I think I might need a dumb phone

RE: IH-555D - 17oz Duck Slim Cut Jeans - Brown
@DeeDee85 nah mate, the dimensions are too close for comfort. Maybe if the thigh was just a tad more. The no stretch of the canvas bit concerns me enough to sit it out. Size 38 is also way too big for my waist.
Can’t win em all -
RE: Where does everyone live?
Hi,
Newby here.
I’m from the South of Perth in Western Australia.
Ordered my first UH flannel the other day. Unfortunately she was on the snug side. I’ve now learnt the importance of getting my measurements correct and to check each and every garment for their individual sizes.
But….. I’m sold. Love the quality and look forward to adding many more to my wardrobe, just with the correct sizing for how I like to wear my clothing.
I currently have a Wabash shirt in bound and looking to buy a hoody and pair of jeans next. Not sure of the 21 ounce or higher jeans though. She gets warm in WA. Thinking maybe the 14oz instead, when they are available. I much prefer blacks over blue.
I’m really big into RM Williams. Have over 14 pairs of boots and probably 30 pairs of jeans. I have recently lost a lot of weight (deliberately) and need to start again with collecting jeans as my size 42’s, 40’s and now 38’s are too big.
My issue I’m finding with RM’s though is that more and more of their offerings are now Chinese made and they seem to be getting thinner and thinner. -

@TuckedInShirt
I am totally getting the brown UHF -
RE: IH-555D - 17oz Duck Slim Cut Jeans - Brown
@DeeDee85 yeah, unfortunately I hesitated on the 888’s too. The tagged 36 appeared to be my perfect size on paper.

RE: IHV-50-IND - 14oz Sashiko Dobby Cloth / Duck Work Vest - Indigo
I normally go for 20’ or just under for shoulders and 24’ or just under for chest but I’m completely lost on what that would translate into for a vest.
Never really worn one before -
RE: IHSH-189-BRN - 17oz Duck CPO Work Shirt - "The UnTucked" - Brown
@jimcasey I’ve been wearing the jeans all day today and couldn’t be happier. They seem to breathe really well.
Your shirt looks the goods mate, can’t wait to get one myself.
Reckon I don’t know anyone over my side in WA that wears IronHeart, so I see value in that too.Cheers

@ManiacLachy
Hi mate,
Unfortunately I think you are right.
I know about the threshold amount to qualify for “free shipping” it’s just if I love em then I’ll have to own several and then that starts getting even more expensive as I’m now adding yet another item just in the hopes of reducing the hit of a US$45 delivery fee.
Clearly I’m not the only one who sees value in that combination of fit and cut though.On the positive side, I suppose I could start trying other Japanese brands when building up enough to
Get my free shipping as I’ve noticed Self Edge have a big selection to choose from.
Just recently ventured to another brand (Samurai) and bought a couple of t-shirts and a heavy Sashiko flannel shirt and was pleasantly surprised to see it’s not just Iron heart that make great Japanese clothing.
The t-shirts actually fit the way I like them to, tooFirst world problems I suppose, could be so many more worse problems to have.
Cheers for taking the time to reply to my comment.

I’m gunna be needing one of these, especially now I have the jeans.

@wjw
Yeah cheers i have, but exchange rate and shipping costs make an already expensive pair of jeans even more so. The IH UK store at least covers the cost of shipping down under for a single pair of jeans. It’s getting close to AUD$100 premium -
RE: IHTL-1501 - Extra Heavy Cotton Knit Crew Neck Sweater
It’s winter here in Australia and I am absolutely loving this jumper. Perfect fit and great for layering. Might have to grab a second one to put away

RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
For me and my preference to how I like my jeans to look and feel. I’m thinking an 888 with either a lower rise or a 634 with a tapered leg. Both of which fit me well but the ultimate would be if I could a mix the 2 together.
Edit: oh yeah and anything Sashiko, especially in a workshirt style.
