@northsouthdenimguy I picked up a similar makeup from SOP. Same sole. Calf-skin. Great and comfortable boot. Aldens are at the to of my list for boots that just feel great.

Nice! This is actually the same make up just not from SOP and the reason why I picked it up… Ben always has the killer Alden make ups. I had the black CXL on the cork,I just sold it the other day. I’m much prefer the wedge.

I was looking at Duckfeet, not least since they are from where I live.. but got scared off by negative reviews about the crepe rubber soles they use. I recall some issues I had in the past (difficult to clean, slippery, cracks when getting older)...

I haven't had much issue to date but I do know that @Brock had the soles on one of his pairs swapped out for a vibram recently

I'm personally a fan of their design due to the low profile and comfort level
