Yeah. That’s me. I can’t even stand them now but loved that record. And to a lesser extend Achtung Baby. Everything since is supremely annoying to me

Also, U2 sucks.
Uies suck more with Larry. I feel there is a theme going on.
JP, FF and U2 all worse without a decent drummer.
 -
@mclaincausey Park me squarely here on U2.
FF - I don't hate them, but they are one of those bands where the greatest hits is all you'll ever need of their music.

The death of the mechanical bicycle makes me sad.
 -
@Bridger I love wearing good boots but when it's a long walk to the pub I wear trainers.
 -
You could always grab an Uber @gazza61

 -
@Bridger not good for the planet.plus I like walking.
 -
You're a good man @gazza61
Bill Gates would endorse both your environmental and fashion choices

 -
Same @endo - not Wescos but I only travel with boots or wear them all day at festivals. Good boots are comfy.
 -
@Bridger thank you
 -
@endo my feet are too old for long walks in boots these days

It’ll never die! Just getting marginalized.

I have two mechanical bikes, one of which is also a fixie so I can brake with my legs. I much prefer hydraulic and especially disc brakes.

Thankfully, we have Liam Gallagher and £3000k tickets to prove it.

What I mean is that Paul is a great composer and and he convinces me with his daily life lyrics. George is obviously the deep mystic soul (my favourite Beatle) and Ringo is Ringo, a great drummer with the right sense. John was the provocateur and for sure also a great composer, especially together with Paul (an incredible unit). My favourite Beatles song is probably 'A Day in Life' which is so nicely divided between the two. But when I listen to John's lyrics after the Beatles, like from 'Imagine', for me it is essentially blah-blah. A bit like his activism.
You'll probably hate me, but that's this threat is for. And I'll take the punishment.
