In my defense (ha!) I have never seen acetate this thick or hard and the hardware and lenses are great, as is the fit and finish. They are worth the asking price, which does not seem possible.

I'm sure you've figured out that it's one of those purchases that seems insane, but that you don't regret, as long as you get a frame that works for your face aesthetically and in terms of how they feel. Despite being so chunky and heavy, this particular frame (even compared against other JMM) just felt better on my face than any other glasses I've ever worn: secure and present, but comfortable. The tint on these lenses is nice too, light enough to wear under any conditions, including not having to take them off indoors, but dark enough to serve their purpose. I usually go for polarized lenses but I wouldn't change a thing about these.

My justification when picking up my Dealan optical were quite simply that I wear them in my face all day, so they’ve gotta be tough and they’ve gotta look good. Obvs sunnys don’t get quite the same hammering, but I’m so sold on the quality I’ll most likely be picking up a pair of Fellinis for this summer

sheeeeeit. Now I think I gots to get some. I wear sunglasses pretty much any time I am outside of the house and it isn't cloudy. I have light blue eyes and bright sunlight can make me feel like I am going blind. Might just bite the bullet and pick up some nice ones that I am sToKeD about since I wear them almost every single day, and it's not like I'm gonna outgrow them.
