I'm a public school teacher so we have to wait until I finish out the school year. We are leaving June 12th to Albany, NY to stay in a fancy hotel for a couple of nights. GWAR is playing the night we get there but we are likely going to skip that show…from there we are headed to Bar Harbor, ME to hike around state (or national?) parks, eat a ton of clams and lobster and hopefully go whale watching if the weather permits.

We went whale watching in Boston.  It was pretty awesome.  Haven’t been to Acadia NP yet. No doubt you’ll have an amazing time.

@Oaktavia You absolutely have to go to the top of Cadillac Mountain. And there’s a restaurant in the park/Acadia that’s famous for their Popovers. You’re jeans will be a little bit tighter,but it’s so worth it. Go to the website as it appears that you now need a reservation to drive to the summit. The restaurant is the Jordan Pond House,which opens on May 25th.

Also @Matt Acadia is the name of the park as you stated, it was at the tip of my tongue.
