Good eye. But not quite.
Last year we bought a foldable/stowable blow up tender and an electric motor. We did not get to use it last year because we broke the big boat and did not really travel.
As we prep for the trip up the Seine, one of the things we have decided we will do is to leave the current tender behind, which frees-up the swim platform. Then we can moor/tie-up/navigate locks without worrying that we really only have access to the startboard side of the platform. It is also super-light, so we can drag it up beaches and banks, which impossible with the large tender
So I was unpacking the boxes and blowing/charging shit up to see how it all works together.
One immediate benefit is that I can use it for getting to a local island that is cut off from land at high water. There is one fishing spot on it that only works at high tide, so I can get to that spot and not worry about being marooned for hours on end..
