I'm super stoked!
My wife keeps forgetting that it's part of our UK trip. The other day I was like, "they just announced some of the new FW items, hopefully I can see some of those when we're there in a couple months!"
She was just like, "Oh, yea! I keep forgetting we're going to that!"
We're doing some other parts during our trip that she is apparently more excited about than being around a bunch of people talking about denim. Go figure.

OK. This is where we are at with the anny jeans.
They will be made from our 21oz indigo signature selvedge denim. There will be a few special details, obviously including the patch.
There will be approx 300 pairs of the 634 made in time for the anniversary party, they will be offered to party attendees first, and the remainder will go up onto the website shortly after the party weekend.
We really wanted to make all 5 core cuts and offer them to our retailers for sale later in 2022 or early 2023, but after extensive discussion with Haraki, we have decided to ditch that idea.
The simple fact is that demand for all cuts in our 21oz denim significantly outstrips our ability to make them. Had we offered the anniversary jeans to retailers, we would have got orders for 1'000's of pairs of each cut. That would have meant that we would not have been able to make anything else out of 21oz denim for the whole of 2023. Given that we constantly get grief (in a nice way) from our retailers because we don't have a regular supply of jeans in our signature denim, we decided that throttling supply further was just not an option. We very briefly considered doing smaller runs and just offering them through IHUK, but very quickly killed that idea, not offering the anny jeans to retailers AND diverting production from jeans that they want but can't get enough of would have been rude at best.
When @Alex and I were in Japan with Haraki a few weeks ago, we spent a considerable amount of time with mills, fabric suppliers and workshops working out ways to increase production (of all things IH). We believe we have some options and should start seeing positive results in early/mid 2023.
We are so sorry that you non-634 cut people will not get an anny jean in your preferred cut, but we simply could not work out a way of doing that without causing major issues that would have had knock-on effects for a long time.

I’m starting to mentally plan for Gosport and I have some questions…
-Who else is arriving on Wednesday?
-Anyone planning on visiting London? Katie has never been so we want to go on Thursday morning. I told her I don’t want to miss happy hour should any guests or crew be so inclined.
-Will we need any cash or can we get by with cards?
-Will we get any more info on the tattoos? (eg. price, designs etc.)
-Would anyone other than me find it helpful to have a list of the attendees’ real names matched with their forum names?
I’m sure I’ll think of other questions.

Cards should be fine everywhere, other than perhaps the tattooist. We will release more info when we get some from him. @Olly can you check in please?
