For real. I was surprised Mr. Kolesch sen. could remember, because it was only hide for one jacket that was send to Scotland. But at this time there have been several attempts to get some more hides for IH. Perhaps he gentle mirrored my narrative

Great to see the pictures and video from the tannery!
(I do some leatherwork when I have the time, and generally the more old school (and time consuming) the tanning process the more I tend to like the leather. J&FJ Baker is a personal favourite for instance)

The Kolesch tannery is where we get the deerskin we use for the Big Bucks. We have supply issues (we can't get enough quick enoughn
). We wanted to meet the family and get a feeling for their constraints, so we could understand more readily how we can modify our ordering/buying behaviour to better fit in with their centuries-old way of doing things.
