The Kolesch tannery is where we get the deerskin we use for the Big Bucks. We have supply issues (we can't get enough quick enoughn
). We wanted to meet the family and get a feeling for their constraints, so we could understand more readily how we can modify our ordering/buying behaviour to better fit in with their centuries-old way of doing things. Plus we think it very important to have personal relationships with our suppliers. -

Took in a candlelight concert featuring Christmas music by Opus 76, a string quartet from KC. Really a beautiful show made all the better by the venue. Google the Ethical Society by Harris Armstrong, it is architecturally amazing.
