@AdamC Understood - thanks for the feedback - fingers crossed for size XS in future - I’m assuming that will be next winter 2027-2028 at the earliest if it even happens. Although I’m bumming, my bank account is happy though.

@scarfmace a submariners sweater traditionally is a white/off-white turtleneck. Think the u-boat captain in the first Indiana Jones movie.
Andersen-Andersen used to have specifically that, but I see they have rationalised their product line. So it would be this now:

I know I've been involved in this thread before and might've mentioned something about sizing, but for posterity's sake I'll add here that I have Ls in the Navy Full and Half-Zip and they fit perfectly. I'm an XL in IH tops 99% of the time.
These sweaters are total beasts. Great stuff.

@goosehd thanks for the suggestion - true. I looked at buying direct in the past but could not determine exactly what the duties, tariffs, and taxes would be up front in addition to the shipping. I really don’t need another sweater to want to pay the extra fees, but if could get direct from IHUK with the free shipping and no additional fees - I would definitely purchase a few more assuming my size was available. As you know - opportunity cost plays a pivotal role.

@SKT that’s size medium. Also tried on a small which fit a bit snug. This stuff does stretch but I want to be able to layer underneath so I think Medium is my preference. For reference, I’m an IH Large in most of their shirts.

@SKT it’s something that needs to be seen / felt in person to appreciate. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was warmer than my Mackinaw Cruiser. Definitely going to need some cold weather to test. Perhaps @Mizmazzle can send you his on account of all that global warming

@will6er yea, I went to just “try it on” as I had business in that part of town. The salesman offered me a deal that was too tough to pass up so I was like fuckit..

Very comfortable the whole walk! Thumb holes are so nice.
When I got back, I just fold the cuff back and I’m really comfortable indoors with it too.
Glad I got the full zip. This is basically a thick warm wool sweater that doubles as a jacket. So good!!!
