Introduce Yourself Here

Hi all. Also been lurking for a while. Started with a pair of 21oz 666s, added a couple waffle henleys and the 17oz duck untucked CPO, and thought I was done for a while, but the thoughts of this UHR drop possibly being a last chance has me jumping in the forum and likely pulling out the wallet. Loved the idea of the low volume production of this UHR fabric for a small family business the other side of the world. I live in Dublin, Ireland. My grandfather was a draper in Mayo. I didn’t follow in his footsteps but I do try honour that heritage and support smaller producers of loved crafts now that I’m fortunate enough to be able to do so.

@DaveC The number one place my wife and I want to go to in 2027 is Dublin, and Ireland in general. Especially after watching How to Get to Heaven From Belfast. If that does happen I will definitely be reaching to you and any other members of The Forum from Ireland. And by the way Welcome!

Hello!
New member here; a lifelong 13mwz guy who jumped down the rabbit hole of high quality selvedge denim a few years ago. I recently made my very first Iron Heart purchase and love the quality and the range. I can't to add more pieces to my wardrobe and start the fading journey. Currently only own the IHSH-227-IND 12oz Wabash but I'm eager to add a pair of 888's to the mix, preferably the 25oz when they come back in stock! The wabash 12oz is unreal and I love it.
Currently have the Oni Asphalt, TCB Baggy 50's, and the Momotaro #400's in my rotation/daily wear. I've previously owned and tried Oni's secret denim and quite a few samurai and SDA jeans but sold them all as the cuts were not right for me sadly. I'm eager to learn from everyone here on the forum and eventually hopefully contribute some fade progress.
Cheers

I joined some time ago and have worn pairs of denim from some of the major players. ( Not yet Iron Heart) !
I recently bought another pair of samurais after not really seeing much available regarding Iron Heart , that I was keen on in a 34.
Perhaps next time.
I did however purchase the wesco foot patrol when that was happening.Nice to meet you

Hi all, new member here.
I'm Felix from London - currently at uni elsewhere, studying Maths & Philosophy. I'm nineteen, so probably on the younger end of the people in here!
I got into Japanese denim from my Dad, who used to run a denim 'blog' in the mid-2000s. He passed away a few years ago unfortunately, but he left behind stacks upon stacks of Japanese denim (all too large for me sadly) in his wardrobe.
I wonder if he was a customer of Iron Heart at all or if he was ever a part of this forum.
Anyway, I would say I'm pretty content with my collection of Japanese denim now after a year or so going down the rabbit hole. Initially, I started out buying second-hand via Vinted and eBay. Once I worked out what sort of cut and weight I like (straight and mid-heavyweight), I went and bought some pairs from Rivet & Hide. In my rotation currently, excluding second-hand purchases, are:
Iron Heart 21oz 634 IH-634S
Pure Blue Japan 14oz Indigo/Black XX-003-IDBK
Samurai 18oz 'Kinari' (Ecru) S510SC-KIThanks for reading! Looking forward to being a part of this forum!

Hi Guys
Chris here from Chadwick Belts..
my Iron Heart love has been reignited recently having lost of good amount of weight I put on during covid and since.....
I feel much more like "me" now and have celebrated that by obsessing over iron heart and emptying my bank account multiple times in the last couple of months buying from IH direct, Rivet & Hide and snapping up a few pre-owned items.
It is just wonderful gear. You just cannot beat anti fast-fashion high quality clothing.
If they come back into stock, my wish list includes the 21oz indigo CPO and the Olive whipcord type 3!! Keeping fingers crossed!
Anyway, hope you guys are all happy and healthy and I hope to speak to you soon!

Hi Richard here.
This is somewhat over due as I am new to iron heart.
Earlier this year, I decided to redo my wardrobe to focus more on quality than quantity. I am usually the type of person who researches for months before doing anything. Well my research led me here and I have now started replacing a good chunk of my clothes.
Being that I am from San Antonio, Tx, I do have to put up with our overly hot and dry summers where we are consistently above 100 degrees. I am lucky though that I do have a pretty lax dress code at work and that is where most of my wear comes from except for the lighter pieces I can possibly wear with shorts.
In my short time on this site I have the following items that I have either bought direct from IHUK or gone into a self edge store to try on before buying.
- 633s-18 vintage jeans(learned afterwards that I need higher rise. Still my everyday pair as I make it work)
- 888s-Sbg
- IHSH-438-IND
- SEXIH25-CPOOD restock
- SEXIH-BRCPO-BLK 13oz broken twill
- IHSH-443-IND
- IHSH-445-IND
- IHSH-438-PUR
- IHSH-442-SAX
I think I am pretty much done for shirts for the year as I really do not need anything more heavy as we really do not get cold or long winters.
I am planning on picking up the following jeans though to replace my 633s and finish my rotation.
- 888s-21OD
- 888-XHS
Other then that I will just be on the lookout for spring summer releases/ restocks that are on the lighter weight and can possibly be worn with shorts on the weekends. I do not foresee picking up any more CPO type shirts as I have a couple that I need to work on lol.
Excited to be apart of this community.
