      The wife’s been out of town for about a week in Mexico on her oldest daughter’s senior trip, so I’ve been eating whatever I want. Just crushed my “last meal” since their plane just landed and they’re on the way home.

      Asada, pastor, birria, chorizo, and barbacoa tacos… plus a couple mandatory mandarin Jarritos.

                Yes, me 14 yrs first time in England and I had never seen such (artificially) green peas before.

                              We get three kinds of fresh peas here in Northern California: snow peas, snap peas and shelling peas - known colloquially as English peas. I believe these are the type used for your mushy peas or peas and carrots.
                              For some reason unbeknownst to me, English peas have the shortest growing season here. They’re usually only available in the early Spring. Anyway, I like ‘em.
