God has blessed you richly, so get down on your knees and thank him. Don’t forget the less fortunate or God will personally kick your ass. I’d love to do it for him, but I can’t be everywhere. Willie Nelson

@goosehd i'm totally NOT a fine dining person, you can feed drunken me a kebap at 2am and it'll be the best thing i ever had. but this place is growing on me, and i don't even mind the wine that comes with the chef's menu. the only fear i have that this is a sign that i'm getting old...

The wife’s been out of town for about a week in Mexico on her oldest daughter’s senior trip, so I’ve been eating whatever I want. Just crushed my “last meal” since their plane just landed and they’re on the way home.

Asada, pastor, birria, chorizo, and barbacoa tacos… plus a couple mandatory mandarin Jarritos.

We get three kinds of fresh peas here in Northern California: snow peas, snap peas and shelling peas - known colloquially as English peas. I believe these are the type used for your mushy peas or peas and carrots.
For some reason unbeknownst to me, English peas have the shortest growing season here. They’re usually only available in the early Spring. Anyway, I like ‘em.
