How water resistant is Paraffin @Oaktavia ? Like is it feel quite waxy like a Wills jacket?
It is more subtle compared to a Wills. More comfortable and the wax coating is pliable. Less heavy as well.

@Tom-Longarms thanks dude I am stoked we both got one. Sleeves don't bother me 🥱 its part of the style. Show them wrist bonez.
-
@Oaktavia is it like walking around in plated armor?…. Maybe a “knight in fading duck” some could say. You’re a legend man lol
-
@Oaktavia you are blending right in!
Though I kinda expected you'd wear all (brown)duck in the pic
haha -
@Tom-Longarms this is also my lived experience a lot of the time
. On the plus side I've decided it's a nice excuse to get some tats in/around my wrists to take the edge off! I'll badge it as a mid-life crisis.. -
@Oaktavia Looks great on ya man - wear it in good health!
-
@Denman-John thank you sir, will do for sure.
-
@long_john86 haha that’s a god idea

Might I suggest that these chore jackets were designed with shorter arms purposefully? I would imagine Haraki was aware how the sleeves were measured, cut and sewn into jackets. Perhaps chore coats with cropped arms are a design choice @Alex? I wouldn't like this on a Type 1, 2, or 3 for example but I think it works well a silhouette in this type of garment.
