Crazy how in the evolution video the combs in the arms seemed to instantly pop out around the third month
I also changed the lighting where I was taking photos around that time. The photos from the previous months were in an area of my house that was too dark for proper photos.

looks amazing in the snow! Agree with @sabergirl - it's a beauty! Love the blue hue (bright blue skies above?)Cloudy skies actually, which allows filtered lighting that creates soft, diffused light. Cloudly days are perfect for these types of shots and helps remove harsh shadows. It creates a natural softbox like a massive diffuser.
Yup! I can’t tell you how many times I had to correct people for thinking photos are best taken in bright sunlight. Sure if you like harsh shadows and squinty eyes. Clouds FTW!

@Oaktavia question for you regarding this piece. I noticed on the Untucked duck CPO that the placket seems to consistently flare out when its worn with the buttons open, if that makes sense. Most prominently the upper part of the placket. Have you noticed this piece doing anything similar? Your wearing it buttoned up in most photos, so was just curious.

New guy here, saw this in the store and see it’s coming soon so came here to see when it’s released. Any idea why 2027 is “soon”?

@Rob-Burgundy The mills in Japan are stressed to the point where it takes quite a bit of time to make items. Because of that demand, it’s a first come, first serve scenario with this being slotted into the schedule that best fits production availability. When 2027 was quoted, it is the current best case scenario when they can be made, quality checked, and sent to us as consumers.

The "Coming soon" is a product of how the website currently functions. Under normal circumstances any product with no stock in it just shows an "Out of Stock" notice but for items that have to to arrive this isn't really the case. So for items in seasonal collections or future releases we tag the product so it changes "Out of Stock" to "Coming soon" - more just to make it easier to tell that the item is something in production that we haven't got yet, rather than been and gone.
We have got plans to have more accurate ETAs displayed on the Website and forum automatically as we get updates from Japan - however this (as I'm sure you can imagine) has any number of kinks to work out, so is a feature that itself should be considered as "Coming soon"...
