I’d love to test drive the Wabash chore coat for a month! I am in San Diego, but im leaving for Europe mid January for a couple of weeks. What do I do to get it my way? Thank you

Oh wait hahah, a little detail, what size is it?! I think ill be disqualified

, I wear xxxl, maaaybe xxl in the chore coat

-
@Aetas You can throw me in the pool as well. I’d love to hammer this for 30 days and pass the torch. I’d need to know the shoulder and chest measurements though since I’d be throwing this on top of an 18oz CPO!
-
@denim-dawg thanks for hitting me up bout this on the ol’ ig. Moving back to my home state of West Virginia this month (wabash was first produced in wheeling, wv by the stifle co.) and I’d gladly wear it back to its roots

-
Also I’ll make @Oaktavia try it on or rather force him to
he’s going to be right down the road from me -
@denim-dawg
Definitely want in!!! -
@denim-dawg if things could work out for me to wear it anywhere’s between October and April I’d be in! Would love to give it a spin if the stars align, and you guys agree

This is me, Pacific Northwest. Send her here and I'll take her to stand upon the shores of the Pacific ocean, and build her longing for home as we stare across the ocean towards Japan.

Dear fellowship of Wabash
SO EXCITING to see so many of you wanting to wear this piece!
I’m putting together a suggested run and will update you as soon as it’s ready.Thought I’d pop in with a little Wabby update. This month is a wild one: I’m performing a play in the evenings and rehearsing a brand-new one during the day, so not much time for frivolities or deep Wabash adventures. But the Blue is with me constantly, and it brings me so much joy to wear it again!
In the evenings we’re performing a Dickens-ish Norwegian musical from the NRK series “The Magical Theatre of Christiania.” A few of my characters have even worn the wabash (only one time on stage).
Show link to the BBC original: https://tv.nrk.no/serie/kristiania-magiske-tivolitheaterDuring the days, we’re rehearsing a stage adaptation of one of my favourite books, DOPPLER by Erlend Loe.
Details: https://halogalandteater.no/produksjon/2025/doppler
I have to learn 156 pages of text, so break my wabash bones haha. The director is Petter Næss, one of Norway’s most widely used directors. We’ve worked together several times, and I’m genuinely pumped for this one. I only wish you all could join me in the forest we’re creating inside the theatre.Hope you’re having a great day, and I’ll be back soon with the Second Leg info!

Being 6”0 160 lbs im a little bit frightened by the XL size, in the new year I’ll be wearing a wabash chore coat in L by the flat head. I’m picturing the IH overtop but I don’t know gents, feeling like it might still be a bit big. any opinions? Just feeling like it’d be badass to take it back to where the original stifel co was in wheeling but if the glove don’t fit…
-
@olblue In times like these, I seek solance and refuge in the comforting words of @neph93 on the subject: "It's about an XL. If you wear XL in IH shirts you're golden. L you can layer. XXL let it hang open. It doesn't matter, you'll have done something impossible, and that makes you mighty."
I would LOVE to see you take the wabash back to its origin.

Thanks @denim-dawg for taking the burden and joy putting up Wabbidashery Round II. -
Hi Everyone! I would LOVE to be a part of this!! I have been following @denim-dawg on Insta and think this is the most awesome creative idea, ever!!

-
@pistachiopony Superb! Joyous to hear! Where do you live and what is you insta? Thanks so much

-
Good friends of the wabby!
Wonderful to hear from you all as this Heavenly Tour is setting off on its second course! You're making me feel grown up, as the prestigiously kind hearted @Aetas has asked me to take over as moderator of this here stint across the globe.
Seems to be a lot of people on this one, so far we may be 19... and with such exuberant denim heads, I cannot wait to see you all wear it. Thought to first let it ravage around Europe, before crossing the Herring Pond to the Americas.
To repeat the inspiring words of @neph who started this: "
I hate it when people call IH a heritage brand, ‘cos its just plain wrong. But when IH do a heritage piece, they do it right.@Alex has kindly agreed to donate a wabash chore jacket (IHJ-120-IND), and it is our job to fuck it up while sending it around the planet. However, there are conditions:
-
you must be a «known and trusted» forum member. I am responsible for due dilligence here and my word is final.
-
you agree to wear the jacket and post on this thread regularly during your leg (legs will last 3-4 weeks. Minimum two posts a week).
-
you take reponsibility for paying for shipping and any unfortunate duties connected to your leg of the tour.
-
finally, if life gets in the way of any of the above, you will make it clear and make it right.
if things go quiet, or the jacket goes missing you will not be surprised if you wake up with me on your doorstep holding a crowbar and willing to use it with extreme prejudice."
What do you say, wabashers? Does it sound Wabash enough for you?
-
-
@Aetas I am down for a leg too. Before / After @sabergirl is ideal. We are both on the east coast

Just told @denim-dawg it would be great to see the Wabby in Baltimore. To avoid postage to the US someone from the Old World could bring it there and it would start the US leg from there?
