Holy moly this thang is amazing! Not too warm but heavy as feck. I love the unwashed 21oz denim in all its glory. I have been highly anticipating the arrival of this 21oz Mountain Parka ever since @Clint_D sent me photo of it earlier this week. Perfect for layering the 21oz CPO underneath. Definitely wearing this one around the house for the next few days at least! It would be so rad to see more heavy coats like this in the future.

It is such a ridiculously beautiful coat and so over engineered it's silly. I love the light blue chambray lining. I love the patch pockets. I love that it has a hood. So stoked to see how it will evolve by springtime.

@Denman-John thanks a lot dude! It is super comfortable to wear too. The large pockets on the bottom of the coat are great to put my hands in while walking with my family down by the river. I've been wearing it inside as well to lounge in since the temps cooled down perfect this week to have the windows in the house open. Creases have set on wonderfully. I'll post more photos in a few weeks.

@Oaktavia I’m looking forward to seeing what this looks like in the spring and hearing about how it handled the winter. I have a black Wabash chore coat that is an amazing work jacket for 3 seasons. This jacket looks like it would be well suited for winter work use.

@Denman-John It kind of wears like a chore coat in the sense that it is longish, wears a little loose, has big pockets. If I worked outdoors for a living, I would definitely give it a go. But I'll just do work in and around the house, just wear it around to lounge, to and from work as a teacher, etc. I'm wondering if I can "get away" with wearing it indoors without looking too silly at work. It is usually pretty cold in my classroom so I'll probably give that a go. Either way, it will get worn enough to show some evo over the next six months or so.
