@aimes Sounds good! I would go for it, doing gradually hotter soaks is a good idea. I prefer a tighter fit on type 3’s personally

This jacket says not to run in the dryer (with all raw denim) but I feel like that would soften up this insanely tough denim if ran for a short time.

@aimes looks good. That's how mine looked. I soaked it 1hr 30c and then a cold wash, no spin. Fits perfect. That way It'll shrink about 1 inch in the sleeves and body. Everything else pretty minimal.

Tried on the lefty again today at SF self edge. Wife picked up sweet pair of samurais. The medium fits rather big, but with shrinkage accounted for think it would end up fitting perfect. Wouldn’t wanna layer with this one, My usual size large is way too big in new batch of these. Even with shrinkage don’t think would be fit looking for. I Didn’t feel like had to have it just yet, so going hold off and keep rocking my lefty OD, and other CPOs/jackets in rotation. Maybe in the near future will pick it up?

@worn2fade the creases on that jacket look great. Waist looked like it’s setting in a bit too 👏

Obviously nothing dramatic here, but given that I only have experience with the 21 oz before, I’m shocked at how quickly fades are popping through in little places after just under one month of wear. Love this jacket & can’t wait to break it in more. (Disregard the cat hair modifications to the denim)

This jacket is starting to fade little by little. Surprised to see how quick the elbows are coming in.

@worn2fade Have you considered spraying it with some starch? It should dry invisibly and will definitely add some stiffness! Test it on a t-shirt to see what I mean.

Sorry to say, you may just have to let the collar be a little wild! If you do too much with the clip it’s gonna start a fade right there

I left the clip there for a couple hours and it basically did nothing lol. I didn’t wet the denim before doing it so that’s probably why. I’m probably just going to let it rock the way it is, thanks for the recommendation though - if I end up really really wanting it then I’ll consider it.

                                          What’s up fam!?

I recently purchased the new raw model from the IH website. Did anyone find the neck to be abnormally tight/ small prior to soak? Does it tighten up further?
The neck to my jacket ( when laying the jacket out - neck button to neck button) is about an inch shorter than any other garment I have in the same size so I was hoping someone else would have some information on this. I’m about to size up because of it although all the other measurements would be way too big. Thanks !
