Just wanted to give a shout-out to here to @Alex, thanks for the meet up at the showroom in London to hand off some stuff I bought. Also for sending over some tips for while we were in London and taking us for a beer!
I can't imagine any other clothing company making themselves so available to a customer who's passing through town!!

So a few people here have been very kind and supportive of me when I lost my job in April. I was going to tag them but their messages were private so I'd like to honor that. It's been an adventure. My spouse is well paid so we've been blessed as well as several come and go jobs and door dash type gigs. This week I start training to be a bus driver for our local school system. The meeting of me and the hiring supervisor was no doubt meant to be and I was hired really before the application was filed. Life/parenting balance was our primary motivation for taking so long. The deal was sealed when I realized the dress code was.. non existent
. When I met her I was dressed per normal and she said that would do fine. 
So thanks for being such a great community especially the ones who reached out.John 1 1-3 ❤️♥️❤️♥️

Strolled through the Shop Vancouver on Sunday for the first time on my way out to Vancouver Island. I needed a hemming on some old jeans, so thought this was a great excuse to make a stop. I had not seen TJ in years, probably since about 2007. It was great to catch up with him as it has been far too long. I know his passion for this stuff shows through his online content, but man the dude lives and breaths this stuff. The time and energy he has put towards building up the Shop and it's evolution has been so cool to watch. Love supporting all these small businesses helping us navigate the fast fashion nonsense and exposing us to incredible brands like IH and others. Props to all those in this space for supporting these shops, brands and people who make this community great.
