@Choko I don't mean to be snarky, but are you aware of the fact that there is currently a 21OZ Untucked CPO sample being faded by our very own Oaktavia? Or do you think there should be both?

@Jett129 oh yeah I’m aware. Just saying there should be both. I saw the recent release of the 292 and it’s just such a nice looking denim

Have you thought about making 727/721 chinos out of the Kurashikizome cloth used for the 144-BEI? How does that cloth differ from the one used for the 730?

All T-shirts made of mercerised cotton are of a light nature and I never seen heavy oz one.
Iron Heart could pioneer such product (11oz). And an indigo one could be one of the colours offered.

@Alex to me it's drier and crunchier, which makes it less "dressy" for lack of a better word, which would give a slightly different style. Plus, the colour is a little different, which I actually prefer to the 9oz mercerized khaki. But that is my personal preference, obviously.

In terms of feel and colour, what's the difference between the 12oz from IHJ-144-BEI and the 12oz from IH-730 for example? And are there plans to use the dyeing method for other chino fabrics as well?

The 730 is lighter in colour, and perhaps more hefty. Aside from that, one is a chino and the other is 'just' a twill (https://texsuppliers.com/chino-vs-twill-fabric-difference).
You can see the difference between the two in the macros:

Not currently, but i wouldnt be surprised if we moved that way

Maybe like the 158, but heavier?

@sabergirl , I like where you're going with this. My thoughts have been on an IHSH-305 made with the 14oz loopwheel fabrics the hoodies are made from. Preferably, navy...

That sounds good too, @scooter . Or maybe the new UHF work shirt cut would be good in fleece? Though I want pockets.

I'd love to see a phone case pouch using 21oz denim.

I currently have this lovely pouch from Momotaro Denim and it's getting somewhat close to end of life. Maybe something close to this?

@iamjustdanny I’ve been testing a Project RE:LOVE sample made from small pieces of old heavyweight denim. The multiple seams create good padding and, having used it for my iPhone 16 pro for a couple of months, I’m ready to finish it off. I was going to line it, add a copper snap closure and either a hanging loop or a long paracord strap. All thoughts welcome!
Please follow this thread for updates on this and all other repurposed products https://forum.ironheart.co.uk//topic/17534/re-love-repurposed-iron-heart-reimagined

Please note: the seams are sewn straight! The thickness of the vertical and horizontal seams on such a small area creates this wavy effect which I like, as well as adding to the padding effect, and so I’m not going to hammer the seams straight, just leave them organic. Again, all thoughts welcome 🙏

(Thanks @neph93 for the heads up x)

Yes on the copper snap closure. A loop definitely works. Though with the loop, i might attach a carabiner of some type so make it easier to attach to a belt loop.

I'm pretty used to wearing a phone pouch off of my belt loop now. As long as i can easily take my phone in and out of the pouch, I'm pretty sold 🙂

And yes, I'll follow along in that thread.
