@flannel-slut I hear ya, man. I’m still not 100% sure. Love my DTC (heck, it’s my profile pic), but I also recently snagged a UES slubby that has similar colours. Now that’s a completely different fabric, but again - how many “similar” shirts before they’re just not getting enough love?
All that being said, these 434’s are truly special in my mind. Been blown away by all the ones I’ve fortunately been able to snaggle. I even emailed DR about a week ago in anticipation of another drop…. So 95% sure?

@Brandrea I have found that it varies from pattern to pattern. To me, my DTC and HHG feel to be on the “coarser” side (relative mind you - it’s not coarse compared to something like Dehen), but my HTP feels soft as. The CBR is somewhere in between. I tend to wear all with a very thin tee underneath, and the only time I feel “itchy” is if I work up a bit of a sweat and moisture is involved. I can wear them all day comfortably….

To parrot @flannel-slut, I find that the Fox Brothers DR products described as having ‘merino’ wool (including the HTP as he referenced) usually have the softest handfeel

@Buckeye yup! Super soft. I’d say on par with the other fox bros flannels. Maybe a touch more robust than the one I have.

Just a question about the feel and fit on these. I've had some woolen shirting before and it's normally pretty scratchy, especially around the next; this one clearly has some cotton in the neck area so that's no issue, but what about in the inside of the arm when you bend it, smoothless or scratchy in other iterations with this fabric?
Then the fit: it's an overshirt so it's bigger. Have you guys sized down to get a slimmer fit or is the slim fit + wool combo a bad choice?
@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot This shirt looks like a faded version of the one in your profile picture and everyone knows you need some washed lighter colours to add versatility to your collection. They're practically different ends of the same spectrum, totally justifiable purchase

@BalticBob Lil bit scratchy on the arms if you are bare underneath but wouldn't put me off at all. Regular size for me, no sizing down.

@BalticBob 100% agree with Graham. I have last years collab and it is more scratchy than a cotton shirt but didn’t bother me once I got used to it. I took my usual size too and I’d say it’s more on the roomy side but the sleeve opening seemed more fitted.
