Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
-
@Alex
Dammit, I only just discovered this brand a few weeks ago. It’s everything I like. Heavy duty, high quality, motorbikes, blacks, whites, blues and killer flannels.
Hopefully I’ll be lucky enough to get some if they ever re-appear. I can’t see myself going anywhere in hurry now that I’ve found IH. -
@Alex, thank you for that insight. I do a lot of metrics where I work and I find data fascinating. I never gave a lot of deep thought to different styles/demands other countries have from each other.

@Aussie-Ben If you don't mind used, keep an eye on ebay and the classifieds here.

@NickD
Will do mate, cheers -
Apologies if this has already been suggested (or even produced) but when I'm out and about in my 21oz type 3, I always wish I had a backpack to match. I have the waist bag already but it capacity is limited, the holdall is too far on the other end of the spectrum. I think a 21oz heavy denim take on a vintage canvas backpack would be great. Something like this but in a heavy denim...

@swamp_wizard
Back in the day there was a brand called Thrux Lawrence and IH did a colab with them. I have one of those backpacks, they are indestructibleEdit: looks like he is back around - https://bestleather.org/the-thrux-pack-canvas-and-leather-backpack-480/

Don’t shoot the messenger…but he thinks this a good idea too…Snaps and zipper on type III vest. Junk the collar for one of those little standup guys.
Prototype: nailed it!

Ever thought about a made to measure service from a specific denim or a pre paid order for easier to do things such as 38” leg, no arcuates etc?
-
@Gavin666 I'm sure this has been answered by Giles in years gone by but the short answer of why we're unable to do that is down to minimum requirements for the factory.
For example when we run X denim in X cut, we have to commit to a certain amount to make it viable. It's simply not tenable to do one off pieces per specific requirements in our production chain.
-
@Gavin666 , Raleigh Denim does this, but it is incredibly expensive.
-
@VegaS10 thought it would be!
-
@Giles did that on a pair of RRL years ago and could see the outline of the stitching
-
make the IHT-1600 in Gray
-
@Travis2375 Make all the Ts 1 size bigger (or is my loosing weight more likely?)

@will6er years ago, weight loss was my Iron Heart goal. Worked for me, I lost about 70lbs(32kg) and have maintained it. I wanted IH, sizes we're not available in tops. Now I have a few that are only 2x. Usually a 3x though. My OD shirt was the first 4x I've grabbed in a hot minute. Run was small imo. You can do it!
