@kiya
will you post measurements here ?Yes, definitely. We'll post size charts in a few weeks. I've been wearing the 633 for a couple of weeks and love it. We changed both the 633 and 301 slightly from their original forms and gave them both a slightly higher rise.
-
Hope the 301 rise increase is only very slight 🫰
-
All the measurements are up so everyone can stop asking! Those 42s in indigo look perfect for me!
-
Size 36 in the 633. Hopefully they have plenty of stock at SELA for the party!
-
Was really looking forward to these but can’t take a risk unfortunately as the sizing seems off again. I have been a consistent 32” in every IH yet these are coming in at 33”. Are they correct?
-
fabric looks really nice, pity the tapered look with small hem isn't for me.
-
@Alex thanks - will check out how they measure and keep 🫰
Stange though as they seem to measure the waist the same. Have been 32” in 777,555 and 666. Are these likely to differ?

This is pretty useless info, to be honest. The only way to know is to compare apples with apples. In this case, what I would suggest doing as you are trying to compare SE measurments is to find a pair of jeans you own, that they still sell, look at their chart for those jeans and see if you can measure their way to get similar results, then compare to the new collab measurements
-
@goosehd struggling to see how pulling waist tight can give give different measurements no matter how you do it unless i am missing something?!
-
It makes a difference, because we way we do it (i.e. The way Japanese factories do it - which is why we do the same, to avoid confusion when we are speccing jeans) takes into account the dip in the waistband at the front of the jean. Other ways do not, hence the difference in measurements. Take a pair of your jeans and measure both ways, you will get different results.
-
@Giles thanks for clarifying both. Appreciated.
-
For the 301s, if I want a 35” waist, should I do 36 or 38? 38 would be a real kick to the ego, but I’m guessing I could just stretch the 36 an inch?

We are getting to the point of where I can't add much more value I am afraid. We can really only talk to the veracity and the methodology of the Iron Heart measurements, I think any further questions of these collabs and their sizing would be better directed at Self Edge via email so that they can handle things on their end.
-
I know it’s going to be a crazy release but self edge has always been spot on with sizing advice on the 2 633s I have.
-
@ssherman95 Trust the measurements, and don't let a silly thing like tag size bruise your ego.
-
@ssherman95 you’ll also need to contact Self Edge as this is their exclusive release.

Will the 301 models have any expected shrink in length after 1st initial wash?
