That looks really good and highlights the slight slubbyness of the denim. Buttons surely look like the new od method.

The shiny buttons really take away from the whole OD look. Fabric looks great. They should offer jacket button replacement Jet black pls.

I couldn't agree more. Leave the design up to the experts. They know what they are doing. If you think you don't like it, don't buy it.

I don't think that the buttons look so extrem different. I have the lefty OD and due to the nature of the chemical process not all buttons are darkend that much. I'm happy that I could sneak one from the old batch but wouldn't hesitate to buy one from the new batch evem the buttons are a little brigther. I really like that IH take care of the environment and work on the processes for less impact.

Fwiw after a few months of almost daily wear, my 888 od button fly is starting to oxidize some from regular usage. These are from the last batch using the direct dye method so I think these buttons will continue to look great over time as well in their own way.

Self edge has uploaded their site with all the new items, their info and pics. I find the charcoal W on the non OD type 3 as a nice touch! I’m in the market for my very first denim jacket - I probably won’t get the non OD and will hope for the lefty 19. I may just have to visit the physical SE store and see if it changes my mind hah

Is it just me or are these running REALLY small in the chest? I’d have to buy an XXXL to get a 23 chest? I’d hate to order and find out the measurements aren’t accurate.

Hmm. I was hoping it would be more visibly slubby, now I’m undecided. I’m curious what the inventory is like, I’m not sure that I’m interested in staying up until midnight for this.

Absolutely love everything about it. They have nailed this whole collection.

The details like the charcoal W, the contrast of the non oxidized buttons against the OD, the texture of the denim in the up close shots. It's all outstanding.

I am UK based so my wish list will remain with the 292 and lefty OD but these releases from Self Edge could very easily change that list if I were in the USA.

I think I'll go for the indigo type 3, I want to see if by the 14th IH jacket my partner will decide it's time for me to sleep in the garage
