@weftyarn i just commented about this on your IG but wanted to extend upon it here. I love the marbling on this pair. I think marbling gets a bad reputation. Many folks see it as a bad thing. Glad you like it too because we need more fades like this in the denim world- especially black ones.

@WhiskeySandwich first wash after 150 wear days or so. From there maybe every 20 wear days.

@RJScheuerle Well… There’s no ID, it’s completely DIY @don_pipone and I made a few of these last two years ago.

So the sad news is it cannot be bought but the good news is you can make one your one.

I used Fiebing's Black Leather Dye. Easy to apply, great finish and affordable.

After owning many pairs of indigo jeans, I finally picked up a pair of 888SOD-21. While these start out pretty black, they'll end up with indigo showing through. For a pair that starts out black and stays that way, I'm guessing the pull of SBG may be too great to resist

SBG won't stay black, it will fade. For black jeans that will stay black, you want the IH-888S-SB:

I had no idea these have been out of stock. I lucked out and was able to snag a pair in my size via Reloved! I have the 888S-21ib and 888-XHSib, so these will add some diversity to the small collection. I’m looking forward to putting some fades after seeing all the faded SBG.

Also, wanted to add that the Iron Heart team is amazing. I placed the order on February 7th. They contacted me to verify my size/hem, hemmed the jeans, shipped, and delivered in California on February 12th! That’s ridiculously impressive!
