      Cool topic guys. Can’t believe I haven’t stumbled across this before. I love tools and any opportunity to get a new one for any project no matter how small. For instance I just got a Milwaukee portable 18v vacuum because I was tired of bringing the shop vac in from the garage for job cleanup. Also just got two sets of Wera screwdrivers because the tips on my others have just been chewed to pieces and not really gripping anymore. When the kid needs batteries changed on a toy the screwdriver better work!

        visited an amazing store in Japan recently. The Nepros is the most beautiful stuff but came home with a couple koken ratchets and a socket strip. The way they design their tools to work as an integrated system is really amazing / highly recommend to anyone.

          If I was younger and used tools more regularly, I would be filling my boots with Nephros and Ko-Ken 🙂

                      @Alex they really should be standard in any kit and are super useful. I don't know how many times it's saved me and how many times I wished I had one on hand before I had bought one.

                      @Giles Any last requests... 🙂

                            My brother gave me this hand saw for Christmas a couple of years ago. I just took down this problem tree that was growing into our large cherry with it. I was amazed how well it performed.

                              Great work on that tree @Oaktavia fun way to put that gift to use. it’s funny how these saws look unassuming and you wouldn’t expect them to do well on such a project. They’re awesome and hold up really well.

                                It was actually quite fun, you are right. It just cut right through it. I was still pretty surprised when I heard the tree trunk starting to creak and break. The tree was growing at an angle so gravity did some of the work for me. I was able to saw it down into pieces after it fell and drag it into the wood line too. Got a lot more done than expected.

                                I was wondering how long it's likely to stay sharp for and if it's possible to sharpen all the little teeth it has.

                                  @Oaktavia sharpening frequency depends what type of wood you’re cutting and how much you use and abuse it. If you have the patience and some feather files it’s possible to sharpen or just get a blade replacement.

                                  Here’s a link to a yt vid of how to sharpen them. He talks a lot, but you get the idea.

                                    @Oaktavia congratulations my friend it's a beautiful "Ryoba" also useful for precision and transversal cuts, the blade can be replaced I've had two or three in recent years and they are really comfortable and effective 👏👏👏

                                      @Oaktavia Japanese pull saws are the best. I keep at Silky Pocket Boy in my truck at all times, and it cuts wood like butter!

                                        I have a Silky Katanaboy, and it is a magnificent saw.

                                        My mothers house is basically built on a hillside, and there is a part of her garden that i a pretty steep overgrpwn area. With the Silky i can get into really tight places to cut down small trees that i couldnt get to with other saws.
