Enjoy that wabby and jacket @Boit !
      That jacket looks great.

It's been handed down through the forum a bit now. This used to be @popvulture 's.

haha. nice! Might be my favorite new shirt. I’m lobbying to take family photos in it even if Katie not fully on board. Plan is to wear it enough till next weekend. Hopefully i’ll flip her.

People. I am sorry for the confusion surrounding the breathability or not of this jacket. I have checked with Japan and it IS breathable. It is an eVent type construction.

I have deleted the contradictory post above. Especially mine, where I stated it is non-breathable.

Is the interlining a membrane like GoreTex or eVent? In other words, is it both waterproof and breathable?

            Yes.....

It stood up really well. It is always either on me or in my bag when I fish. I have it with me in Greece atm, but I suspect it wont get used 🙂

I'll take pics when I can....

No idea how many times I have worn this. But I do know I that I have spent many an hour rolling around in the bottom of a boat wearing it....It goes over the top of my chest waders and under a fishing vest/floatation device when fishing in UK....

How did you go about washing this thing, @Giles ? The usual cold wash and hang dry?

                            I'm as ugly as you

I love this jacket for the environment I live in. Love it enough that I bought two sizes. A large to layer over stuff in the f/w and a medium to go over tees in the summer. Have had it out in all sorts of trrrible weather too. My only complaint is that the placket for the front opening has too few bartacks to hold the fold neatly when wearing open (how I use it most of the time). I’m wondering if @JoshC could work his magic on that. I think it needs three or four more bartacks and it would be perfect.

Heya @Boit, if you could give me an email at shop@ironheart.co.uk and send me some more photo's of what you would like and how you would like it to look so I have a bit of a better understanding, whilst I think we could get something done, I do worry about stitching the fabric at this point as it could cause some integrity issue to the waterproofing, but send me a email and we can talk about it once I have some more photos etc.
