Curious, is anyone going for this piece thinking about sizing down? Typically I wear XXLs for a roughly 24" P2P but it looks like a 25.4" for the XL in this case and might be my best shot. Just wondering if anyone thought the same.

Literally signed up to the forums for this coat. Quick questions 1) I'm in the US and can only see the coat on the UK site. Can I purchase from the US, or do I need to use the UK site? (worried about card getting declined for non-US payment) 2) are the measurements on the product up-to-date? I see a lot of questions about it in the forum.

Below is a link to the jacket on the American domain. Even if you browse on the .co.uk site, you will be forced to checkout on the USA site if you are American (based on your IP address) and input an American address.

Iron Heart America LLC is registered in the USA exactly for the reason you state above, so we have a US based bank account that all payments from the American site settle into, so you have nothing to worry about with a non US payment, it will be handled domestically for you.

The measurments on the site are accurate, people are not questioning their veracity per se, more that they appear to be larger than a typical Iron Heart jacket. All our M65s come a little large, to allow room for layering, but often they are so warm, this is not required, so you can size down. Make sure you measure the way we do, and compare those dimensions to the published chart, and you should be good to go.

This jacket is expected to sell very fast, so if you want one, you need to be ready to go at around 1555BST (1055 East Coast time)

…and to add: Even though an item may be in your shopping cart, it is not guaranteed to be yours until the transaction is completed.

I highly recommend that if you are planning to purchase anything else, to place them in the cart prior to the jacket going live and adding the jacket as soon as it is live. As soon as the jacket is in your cart, immediately start the process of checking out to increase your chances of securing the jacket.

Once again, the jacket is not guaranteed until after the checkout process is completed and the site gives you a confirmation.

To expand a little. Stock is not decremented until the transaction is completed. So if more people have an item in the cart than there are available, the late completers will be disappointed

I think the color is beautiful and I love the time that went into it and the eye watering price of it all….but I cant see myself wearing it.

So thankfully for my wallet I wont be shopping & thankfully for you, you have one less contender
