@scooter I would definitely have taken a home game against the Bears to get into the playoffs a couple of weeks ago.
-
@IrishHeart , Chicago has certainly improved, over the past few weeks. They've won 4 of their last 5, with the only loss coming at the hands of a very good Browns team. They were up by a TD, with less than 4 minutes to go in that one, as well. This is not the same Bears team we rolled, in week 1...

A Happy and Healthy New Year to all,but another week in the wild and wacky NFL is in the books. @steelworker started off the season picking The Bills against The Jets. Four plays in Rodgers tears his Achilles, but somehow the Jets win on a miracle punt return in overtime. Yesterday the Eagles are up 21-6 at the half against the 3-12 Cardinals, who somehow score 29 points in the second half, beat The Eagles and give the middle finger to @steelworker for calling them little red birds. @Oaktavia looks the Jinx theory right in the eye and gives it the middle finger as The Ravens make tuna fish out of the Dolphins. They had every right to be flat after a trip to SF and back. @Oaktavia should have been at the game, but hopefully this impressive win had him smiling, and more importantly sends him into the final week of the season. @Nocturama had The Bills who like a lot of AFC East teams love giving the Iron Heart salute to The Pats, which is exactly what they do keeping @Nocturama alive for week 18. On the other hand it was @october-rust who was the recipient of the single finger salute as the Packers send The Vikings sailing, and just like that we’re down to two for the final week of the regular season. Hopefully your not giving me the middle finger after reading this.

Can’t look beyond the Cowboys over the Commanders in week 18. They need to win to top the division plus the home/away and divisional records are polar opposites - what could possibly go wrong? 🫣
-
@scooter agreed. Just nice still to be in the mix with a playoff place in our own hands.
-
They looked good to me
-
That seemed like a pretty quarterbacky, MVP-caliber performance by Jackson.

@Jett129 He is a Baltimore based comedian named Stavros Halkias (Greek?) that plays the character Ronnie (Raah-nie in Baltimorian) who is a huge Raven's fan. He makes a video in character after each game and they are fucking hilarious. I will link one when I am not at work because language is inappropriate in my current setting.
He has a Netflix special that came out last month called Fat Rascal but he's not playing the Bmore character.

@Oaktavia dude Stavros is so damn funny. I love his special — I laughed so hard when he was like "yeah I'm from Baltimore. To give you an idea, think season 2 of the Wire Baltimore" (or something to that effect).
-
@popvulture hahaha yeah it's fun having a comedian from my area too. Definitely my type of dude lol.

Just looked up his special again — the bit about the threesome at the end kills me
