In case it helps, I recently had problems with recordal of a change in ownership in an overseas jurisdiction - our application bounced as we apparently needed a document from 15 years ago that probably never existed or a declaration from our client saying stuff they would never want to commit to paper. The local lawyer suggested we start the process again and hope it will be processed by a different official. Worked like a dream in super quick time. Could this be worth a try in your case?

Sadly not. Basically the FCDO is trying to run before it can walk on this process. It's very 'computer says no'.

By way of update, I have now linked my account with the company that's supposed to verify my ID with the payment we made. But now the ID verification process just isn't working.

I'm doing plenty of deep breathing and counting down to 5:30.

@EdH I can feel the frustration from here. There’s something to be said for dead trees and wet signatures.

And to make matters worse, you can't just reply to their support emails. You have to go to their website and fill out the form generating a new support ticket each time, or get onto that chatbot each time you hit a hurdle.

My family want to meet for burgers after work. Great, I said, but I want to kill and butcher the cow myself after the week I've had. They suggested five guys. I said that would do, but I'd rather not get done for a quintuple homicide.

@AdamC Sorry for the late reply mate. The UPS driver literally called me seconds after my rant with the brown bag in his hands in front of our door.
But that doesn’t take away from the absolute awesomeness of the service and support you guys deliver. Friday afternoon and you step into the game with UPS. That’s dedication! Have a nice weekend Adam!

@popvulture Yup, same experience. I think me changing the delivery address to the access point was too much for them. First time with such big problems though, they‘ve been incredibly fast and reliable thus far.

@weftyarn I drive for UPS, it is definetly the driver choosing not to go through the process of writing out the access point on the info notice. Is there a way you/ IH can make the package read "high value" (typically reserved for items over $1000k) then they have to get a signature or deliver to access where a signature can be obtained.
