IH-735-KHA - 11oz Herringbone Work Pants - Khaki
-
@Palmer @Paul9221 took these for a spin today, it's 22 degrees so (around 70 for our trans Atlantic friends) and they're very comfy. At 11oz they're quite heavy in terms of overall weight, I was wearing linen yesterday which is obviously way lighter and more breathable, so the difference is noticeable. I reckon I could get away with them around the current temperature in the UK with our relatively low humidity, but wouldn't want to me wearing them anywhere warmer than that, else I'd be too warm.

Interesting. Was thinking 33 but they look a hair big. I donโt have a experience with this material. Anyone with the cargo version care to provide any waist stretch info?
-
what Dr Matthattan asked -
Same here - if theyโre not totally unforgiving it looks like I might go down 1 inch.

Hope the conversation cited below from the thread of the cargo version helps @Matt, @flannel-slut, @ARNC

Can you expect any stretch in waist,ย with this material?
@Alex said in IH-733-KHA - 11oz Herringbone Cargo - Khaki:
Yes, but less/slower than denim in my opinion. I would anticipate 0.5-0.75"

@cityofdelusion thanks!

Waist is generous, but the thigh is skinnier than many of the recent cuts like this. Olive seems bigger!

I was thinking the same. Going to have to size up for thighs.

Any idea or examples how these or the cargos will age over time? Canโt manage to find many.
-
Interesting how much the colour varies between different photos. Looking forward to seeing the real thing!

Got a pair of these, really stoked. Definitely interested to see how the fabric is IRL... I hope it's a little on the darker side compared to trad khaki. Seems that way.
-
Dig them as well! Maybe snag one as well! Some things are a hidden gem and i guess this one is one in that category
-
Well, the colour irl is great (not coming through in these pics), the weight is good and they feel robust with a pleasantly rough hand. Not sure if I got the sizing right though - out of the bag I thought Iโd probably miscalculated but to my surprise I can get them on just fine. The waist is quite snug though and Iโm wondering if Iโd be better off going up from 33 to 34.
Apologies for the office shirt and general surroundings - Iโm staying near work tonight!

They look fine, but if they feel tight, Iโd size up. Youโre not going to get any stretch out of a herringbone
-
Thanks @sabergirl. Iโm still slightly on the fence. I think you value comfort a bit more than me but you might well be right, especially as these are for warmer weather.
