@Anesthetist I went down a size. I have the gun check in a medium and it fits perfectly so hoping for the same with this one too.

After much deliberation and mental anguish I decided to drop a size to a medium. On paper it should fit well so crossing my fingers and hoping.

I can see how some might think that the shirt is kind of “plain”. But in hand it’s such an interesting and amazing fabric and color. The texture appears rougher than the smooth gun check but I’ve found it feels nicer against the skin. Kind of a strange phenomenon.

I think the "plainness" actually makes this one more versatile in the wardrobe. Would love to feel the fabric in person some day as I don't think I can justify owning this piece with the type of weather we have out in the West.

So, originally I bought a medium when this shirt dropped. But….then in a wave of panic around 0330 the same night, I emailed and cancelled due to sizing worries (thanks again @Ross ). I was pissed at myself for waffling and cancelling but then had to put it on the back burner as we had an opportunity for a new piece of art.

Fast forward to the spring sale, I was fortunate enough to nab a large and I’m glad I went with my gut on this one. The large is PERFECT and is such a beautiful shirt that I wish I had bought one last year. When my wife gets home I’ll take a proper pic but until then:
