The way I said means that as you see more and more threads, the issue gets less and less.....

      On my iPhone.

I think there is a bug when trying to get away from the left menu, it freezes

      Happen a few times
I have to refresh the pages to remove it to go back to the forum.

let me take that step and see what's poppin

@babyknight Not sure if this will solve your issue.

Whilst we could migrate a lot of data from the old forum to the new, we could not migrate viewing history. So basically the new forum did not know what you had seen before. So if someone posted a new post in, let's say, the IH-634S thread, it knew it was a new post that you had not seen before but did not know how many posts you had not seen. So it defaulted to the first post when you clicked on the IH-634S thread in "Unread Topics". At that point, the new forum knows what you have seen, so the next time someone posts in the IH-634S thread and you click on that thread in "Unread Topics", it will take you to the first post that you have not read (just like the old forum basically)...

        Ditto for every other thread.

        Does that make sense?

No but that may be my fault for not explaining the issue properly!

On the old forum if you clicked on "Recent Posts" near the bottom (even if not logged in, so the forum had no idea what you saw before or didn't), it just showed you the most recent posts made on the entire forum. It was really great as you just saw all the action across whatever topic. It had nothing to do with what you'd seen before or not. Have I explained it better now...

I’m sorry @babyknight but the crew refuses to answer until you post an amazing photo of what you’re wearing today standing in front of an epic view of the city. Those are the rules.

Ha! Hi Matt how's it going. Those forum posting days are sadly behind me now, I am way too shy these days.

I hear that. Fortunately for me I’ve gotten much better looking with age and shyness has never burdened me. 😝

@Kasi i also see that bug. I’m using an iPhone. I haven’t narrowed down the exact way to reproduce it but I believe it’s when you swipe to go back a page and at the same time open the menu with the home button. Afterwards the screen freezes.

@deanclean no dedicated app, but you can add to your homescreen for easy access. I explain in more detail here 🙂

Cool! I didn't even know that iOS could do that Thanks, Adam.

And you will see loads of recent posts...

Indeed... just that you then have to click on each of them to see the post and then click back to go back to the list of new posts, whereas on the old forum the recent posts loaded directly and you could just scroll down and read them all. that was nice.

But like everything that changes, it just takes time to get used to a new way of doing things and i am sure we all will!

We may be able to sort that out, @AdamJ is excited about how configurable this new framework is....

Text is very jittery under my thumb when scrolling and trying to read. Very annoying to lose my place and refind it constantly.

Also 2 bars at the top and 1 at the bottom constantly moving is also very annoying.

The jittery text is really a deal breaker as I feel it's migraine inducing as well as extremely frustrating.

It's like trying to read with 3 strobe lights in your face and the book is moving.

Can't see what I'm typing either. Have to constantly get rid of keyboard to see what I'm typing or correct anything.

I was going to send @AdamJ a chat message about these issues but the typing box is so small there's no way to see what I'm typing.

I'm on android smartphone using Firefox browser. I tried desktop site and mobile site settings. Both act the same.

The “mark all as read button” from the unread list is in a spot where it’s really easy to hit it by accident on mobile. Please consider putting it in a menu or at the bottom or something.

I would like to use the "unread topics" page as more than an all or nothing page if possible. is there a way to add a "remove" button to each post so you can filter the ones you want to click into and remove the ones you don't? I could then leave myself with a list of the 6-10 pages I want to look into. I know that new posts continue to populate on that page, but i wanted to type this thought out anyhow.

Do you mean like this? So if you hover of the avatar/profile image of the post, you can tick it. For example, if you want to select every For Sale thread. Once you're happy with what you've marked you can hit 'Mark as Read' this will then clear the threads you've selected.

@AdamJ But why is it the Avatar of the founder of the thread. Why not the person who last posted. Missing this information when scrolling through new posts on my phone!
