Exactly. Getting hung up on what we think others expect of our gender is a trap, even sort of ironically (if harmlessly) demonstrated in this thread when a couple of us who wear this bag asserted facts about their lives in defense of their masculinity.

I think we are better focused on what it means to be a good and happy human being than on conforming to external expectations of any sort, be they around gender, race, creed, sexuality, nationality, etc.

The ONLY thing keeping me from buying this bag is I need more space for my things. I’ve long carried a bag and although I’ve gotten shit over it (being a male nurse didnt help but so I digress) no F’s given here.

I recently read that some eastern-european machos think of our free Europe, with all it‘s different ways of life, love and respect for every human being (well ideally), as Gayrope , thereby expressing their view how decayed we all are here.

…I want to leave this thread but it really hit on a nerve. How many people have been harmed because of this backwards mentality over the decades prior and still prominent in some circles. Men, Women, Girls, Boys all feeling guilty, bullied, harassed, and harmed because they didn't fit the definitions that others thought were right.

People have been killed either directly or indirectly (suicide) because of this neanderthalic thinking and I wish it would stop...

My brother would probably make fun of it. He spent most of his 20’s playing video games in my mom’s basement shirtless surrounded by cat turds, cigarette butts and empty Mountain Dew bottles. Then he joined the army, knocked up a surly stripper and now he’s a cable guy.

Just bought this bag. Looks great and will come well in handy for smaller gear such as sunglasses, keys, tobacco, perhaps a (water) bottle and various bric-a-brac, knick-knacks and such. Does it look like a womens bag? Perhaps, but it’s all about guts and courage on how to pull it off. I’ll double it up with a wabash western just cause I think it will look the business.
