IRON HEART WEBSITE V5 - NEW WEBSITE LAUNCHING 18TH JANUARY
-
@Weft:
Hi Crew
I’ve been trying to use My Alerts. I can add things to it, and click through to the product pages, but I can’t remove them with the X button. It doesn’t seem to register at all when I tap it.
I’m using Safari on iOS, but I can’t get it to work on Chrome, either.
This has been fixed now
-
Nice one guys.
You’ll have to feed the Web Minions.

Hi @Paul9221 sorry that you haven't been receiving the tracking information. This is sent from UPS automatically once the parcel is scanned. On your next order, please drop a comment in the order section and I will monitor it for you. This won't be anything to do with the new website, but I may need to speak to UPS.

Hey Adam, you're right! I thought that I used to get tracking information from you guys when something shipped, but I looked over my past "shipped" emails (pre-new-website) and there was not tracking information there either. Nevermind!

Hello,
I really dig the new Rats eyeglasses that came up, but of all the things that are difficult to buy with confidence remotely, eyeglasses top the list for me. I think that some retailers have solved this issue with varying approaches to allowing prospective buyers to virtually try frames on, from simple things like superimposing the frames on a static image of your face to augmented reality "virtual mirrors" that do the same but in a 3D rendering that truly resembles mugging into a mirror at the store. Here's an example I found, but haven't tried, online: https://www.jins.com/us/virtual-try-on
I am not suggesting that y'all try to develop something so complex, but I am wondering if there are solutions that could be leveraged to provide this kind of virtual try-on for glasses.

Nice idea, McClain. I will have a look around
@Alex , I was recently looking around for eyewear, wondering about ‘head shapes”, and what works best for me without trying them on and found this Zenni website. I found it very useful.

Hi Iron Heart,
Just wondering if there are any plans to add the Watchlist feature that's available in the International site to the America site. It's a useful feature but a visitor from America can't make purchases from the International site, so we end up having to go back and forth if we want to maintain a watchlist.
btw…thanks for the stellar products and cool content...

This is a website question so apologies if this is the wrong topic. It would be great if when looking at your past orders there was a little thumbnail picture of the items. I like to reference my past orders to see what size I got and compare to an item I’m looking to purchase. I’m horrible at remembering what ID numbers correspond to what clothing item. I end up sort of guessing the time period I bought something then clicking on an item and then the next page shows a picture. It would be nice if on the main list of items ordered had a picture. Hopefully that makes sense and I have no clue if any of this is possible. Have a good one.

Are you familiar with the Extinct pages @deanclean ? That may help–not as easy as having it on the order but it is something.
https://www.ironheart.co.uk/extinct/
I also just tested the site's search function for a model number and it did show the Extinct page for it.
-
Yes that extinct page is nice but I was thinking in your account when you log in and look at your list of past orders there could be a little photo of what you ordered so you wouldn’t have to sort of guess. Once you click on an item it loads another page with the picture of the item. Here is a screen shot of my account and then maybe the thought will make more sense.
Just a thought I had the other day when looking for a flannel shirt I ordered in the past. A little photo beside the list would be handy but not essential obviously. -
I totally understood you @deanclean ; my mistake was thinking the product SKUs were on that screen so that you could search for them
-
@deanclean i have spoken with the tech team and they will get a fix live next week. It will be on the order details page, not the overview that you screen-shotted, though.
-
@deanclean that change is now live on your active orders
-
@Alex thats great. thanks for the update.

Idea for the site: mirroring the product threads on here, list all stockists on the product page.
