IHSH-178 - 18oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black

Won't be restocked.  We have run out of the denim.  We are sampling a new version in 19oz LHT at the moment, we did try 18oz vintage but decided it was not man enough.  We have left the status of this shirt as "continuous production", so we can harvest "email me when back in stock" requests.

I have yet to see the new sample, so it will be at least 3 months before we see the new version in production I am afraid.

Super excited for the release of the new version of this shirt. Apologies if this is cheeky, but I came across this old post from @Giles saying the 18oz vintage wasn't 'man enough' for this shirt :o

Did anything change about this denim to make it more suitable, or was it just a case of any potential alternative denims turning out to be even less suitable?

I'm totally planning to buy this either way, just curious about the thinking/process that goes into the design.

It's a really good question.

We thought it was not "iron" enough when we got the sample.

Then we had @Alex and @AdamC wear the samples for a few weeks, and then we realised that it was amazing…....

Thanks for the reply, that's good to know. To be honest I've not owned much in the way of shirts this heavy before - I think there's more chance it ends up being too iron for me if anything, rather than not enough…

Looking forward to finding out soon anyway.

Okay, that is a badass patch, and the colors are perfect for this shirt.  I wouldn't patch it, but I think that patch on that shirt could look awesome.

What you need to do here is buy a second 178, or a 293, so that you can patch one and keep one untouched

No,Not that patch. We discussed that patch at length when it came out,as being tooo close to the Hells Angels logo. Most people didn’t care. Giles said that a local Hells Angel was cool with it. I wouldn’t do it.
