THIS OR THAT?

Phoenixing this thread in the hope of some solutions to a dilemma. I purchased the IHSH-234-BLK over the weekend and it is staying in Gosport while I consider snaps. It looks great as it is obviously but I had this idea it may be awesome with the pearl snaps for a bit of in-your-face contrast.
@Steve has kindly and skilfully mocked it up in Photoshop, but I’ve been staring at it so long I’ve lost all sense of what I think.
So is it a good idea. Pimp to pearl or leave as it is? Here is the mock up:

Pearl all the way.

I put the HD pearls on my
187 and it was the best decision I made. They are just plain logical!!

When in doubt, pimp it out!

Ladies and gentlemen. Wow lots of feedback, greatly appreciated, thank you all. In addition, unanimous support for the pearl! Which I have decided not to go with
I agree with all of you, it will look brilliant. It will also make the shirt a bit more of a statement piece, which may prevent me from pulling it out of the cupboard on a Monday morning. Being a father of thousands with a house under renovation and the social life of a dark ages leper, it will be a long time until I get to rock contrasting pearl snaps in da club. So I'm saying no.
The shirt can definitely be elevated a little however, so I'm going with a single GAH snap

Anyone have a recommendation for a well crafted leather Moleskine leather notebook cover?

@seawolf might be able to make you one! Won’t get better quality than that. Check out zeebeeleather.com or @zeebeeleather on IG.

I could have sworn there was a thread like this but neither Dennis nor I could find it.
Of you know where it is let us know and he’ll merge topics.
So… I’m in the market for some summer jeans and I’m having trouble deciding between indigo broken twill and od 14 oz. 888 will be the fit. Don’t have any jeans in either material. I’m leaning towards the broken twill because it’s something different and I may want a heavier od option later on. I don’t want the od broken twill because I’d want to really enjoy the weft detail and I feel it would get lost if overdyed.
Let me know what you think. Don’t say both.

I have owned the 634 14 oz broken twill since last September and I wear them the most of all my IH denim.
Part is because the waist fits me 10/10 perfect, but they are super easy wearing. Light weight yet they still ooze quality and durability. They have a really nice hand that’s different than a regular twill and it gives you yet another solid, not at all weird, reason to rub your own pants.
They are almost too easy to wear, and for that reason I just toss em on, apologize to my other pants, and get on with my day.
I haven’t worn them in the summer months yet but I’m assuming the lighter weight paired with the straight cut will make them more manageable than my slimmer pants.
