Bad Timing, Halfway to a Threeway, The Visitor, and Simple Songs are all on O'Rourke's more accessible side as well. They're all pretty great. I regret that I haven't engaged much with the noise/Steamroom stuff.

My wife and I went to see Wilco a couple weekends ago at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, which is a famous Dead venue and is a wonderful place to see music. We've seen Neil and Dylan and Hot Tuna there as well. Actually listening to Being There on CD right now. I love CDs. They're cheap as hell, no one wants them, and I don't subscribe to any streaming services.

This may be a good place to ask this random question: Anyone have a line on someone who's doing Black Flag bars patches? I mean, like, doing them well? Or someone who does custom patches and would do it? OR (and this is final or I swear) someone who does custom chainstitch and would chainstitch me some Blag Flag bars on my IH jean vest?

Anyone out there have a tie-dye kit they can recommend? Looking for something quality that won't run or mess up other clothes in the wash, etc. I've got all these white band t-shirts I never wear...

None of this cycling wear is really my aesthetic. (What do you mean you don't make a modified type III!?!?!?!?!?) But I think I like the look of the Maap best.

I do feel kinda silly wearing expensive kit though because I don't have clipless pedals and I'm not thin and I don't go fast or anything.

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I had bought some less expensive Bontrager, REI, and Pearl Izumi stuff and I'm looking to try something a little nicer especially on the bibs side. I went on a not crazy gravel ride yesterday (27 miles) and despite the Pearl Izumi chamois I was wearing my taint got a little rubbed the wrong way. (To be fair I am still breaking in a Brooks saddle.)

Anyone have any recommendation for brands they like for jerseys, bibs, etc.?
