Stuffed mushrooms with goats cheese and creamy polenta [emoji4]

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I've been looking into getting myself a blender. However, I've also seen that some of the stand mixers, such as the Kenwoods, have blender jug attachments.
How does a blender add-on for one of these compare with a stand alone? Is the added functionality of a stand mixer useful? I've ever used one, so no experience there.

Lazy Mondays… Pizza time...
- rolled out the pre-made dough (lazy) to make it thinner (with a beer bottle of course, all class here!), then put it in the pre-heated oven for two minutes to get a tad crunchy...
- grilled courgette + pine nuts
- sliced goat cheese, sliced tempeh, sweet peppers, onion, mozarella, pre-made pizza tomato sauce (did I mention lazy?)

I'd stick with a standalone blender if I were you. The wife and I have been really happy with our Blendtec. I was able to buy a refurbished Classic unit for $200 USD shipped with both the Wildside and Twister (for dry items) jars. It works great for smoothies, sauces, soups, etc. If you can get one for a fair price, I'd highly recommend one.

The only one I would consider is this:

Chicken & Waffles

Was brunch yesterday.

I love chicken and waffles. Something about syrup, and hot sauce. That sweet and savory. Mmm now I'm hungry.

Ok, that was my next question. I figured either sweet or hot, but you guys do both?
