          I hate celery even with ranch… yuck
          We eat okra with shrimp paste its so good. Never had gumbo before...

            I like endive.  That's good, as far as I'm concerned.  Celery, too, for that matter.

              Strange - here, Andijvie (Endive) is a whole other vegetable… Ah well...

              Celery - nowt wrong with that... Although I had it on a pizza once in The Netherlands... That wasn't quite right... You crazy Dutchies...

                Any decent gumbo will have celery in it, as it is elemental in Cajun/Creole cuisine, whose holy trinity is celery, onion, and bell pepper. Most recipes either start with a roux or the holy trinity.

                              came to my mind just yesterday.

                              mix beef with ground almonds (my favourite and actually secret ingredient to almost all my meals 🙂 ), salt, pepper and chopped peppers and let it rest for a few minutes.
                              while it rests, mix avocado with salt, pepper and a bit of olive oil.
                              take mixed beef, spread it out and add the avo mix in the middle, form paddy and throw everything in the pan/on the grill…done and enjoy 🙂

                                  I made a black bean soup with pulled chicken breast last night but I ate it all before I had a chance to snap a photo 😃

                                  Idea: made a slaw using a mandolin out of raw Brussels sprouts.  They are like tiny cabbages after all, no?
