Goddammit! Pretentious assed country club doesn't allow denim. So now I'm wearing some hideous polyester slacks. Fuck, I feel like such a douche.
Chris, I feel for you. Did the same and I had to buy golf shorts! To make things worst, I played like shet and everyone around me was a "pro". I had to refrain from unleashing a bout of profanities….....its fecking frustrating to play golf!

God, the headmaster is such an asshole. My son has been going to school there for three years. There are less than 40 students. Benjamin has been pictured in promotional materials for the school. The headmaster neither knows my name nor that I am Benjamin's father. Dickhead.

Well, it's over.
And, in fairness, I should admit that I had a pretty good time. My borrowed clubs were quite nice and my group changed so that I played with two other parents and our caddy (yeah, we had an honest to god caddy). All were totally cool and the other dads were approximately my skill level, so it wasn't completely embarrassing. I had a handful of truly pretty shots, which was nice- the best was a downhill, breaking 17 ft putt that I perfectly drained. Total luck, but still…
I'm not going to play golf again until next year's charity tournament, though.
Oh, and my back is killing me.
And the Director is still a useless sack of shit.

Travelling anywhere in England is certainly an experience. We have been on the road for about an hour, and so for we have been through two heavy downpours of rain, and two patches of baking heat.
