IH-832-IND - 10oz Japanese Denim Painter’s Pants - Indigo

Our classic painter's pants, made from 10oz Japanese denim. Woven with a grey/blue weft yarn, this denim has an overall darker appearance, reminiscent of the industrial denim uniforms common in the 1800s. Slub yarns in the weave enhance these traditional sensibilities, adding texture and neppy character to a fabric that promises to fade and evolve with vintage charm.

Offering a relaxed fit and features including reinforced belt loops, triple-stitch construction, multiple pockets, and a tool loop, these are highly versatile work pants that combine function, comfort, and vintage denim style.

As a quick update to this product:

From the sample we thought the denim was going to be 80% cotton 20% hemp however in production it has changed to be 100% cotton.

The descriptions and product pages have been updated to reflect this change

Stretch Details

• This fabric is not expected to stretch significantly at the waist or in other areas
  One-Washed
• Post construction, we wash the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage.
• No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to our care guidelines

I've been keeping my powder dry for a while, but I had to have these. Old-school workwear fabric, tonal stitching and workpant cut, should be slow vintage fades, nice
