@GTPowers Holy hell what a fantastic looking pair of jeans! Looks like maybe a trip to Ye Olde Crotch Repair Shop is upcoming? Maybe my pair will look like that in 270 or so more days.

RE: IH-666S-19L - 19oz Left Hand Twill Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans
Just laying on the couch and noticed this fabric has ripples like horsehide footwear gets! Only about 3 days of wear on these jeans though, so the ripple effect may not persist. Very interesting and very rigid fabric so far!

UES hickory cap, IHSH-56, 666-xhs, Chucks on a cool spring Appalachian morning. I need a new iPhone with a better camera!

RE: IHSH-409-IB - 19oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo/Black
@Oaktavia Man what a great looking shirt and I appreciate your earlier comments comparing/contrasting this to the 292. This will be a great first IB piece assuming the sizing works for me.

@long_john86 That’s a killer duck trucker jacket. How did you size on that relative to your shirt size?

RE: IHSH-33-OD - 12oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black
@drkevy Great first IH piece! I’ve had my eye on this shirt for a while but can’t justify the purchase right now. My chainstitch runoffs always go bye bye quickly, I’m just not a fan of the look, but others are. Horses for courses.
If I may offer a piece of unsolicited advice about buying IH jeans (or any other jeans, really), it’s this: measure your current jeans and understand the relationship between rise and waist size. All the sizing mistakes I’ve made have related to this.

RE: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)
@sabergirl @endo Yup. This is on a portion of the Appalachian Trail inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Right on the TN-NC border. One of the few natural places around that hasn’t been mined, developed, or otherwise destroyed.

@neph93 double Wabash, love it! Where is that outstanding belt buckle from?

RE: Changes to The Marketplace
Yikes! I’ve purchased items from the marketplace on at least four different occasions, and now can’t even view the Buy/Sell section. That’s an… interesting… strategy!

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2023 EDITION
@Tago-Mago Nice! I had Gojira tix when they came thru my neck of the woods but I had to skip the show due to the ‘rona. Didn’t stop me from blasting it at home and annoying my neighbors. Hope it was a great show for you!

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2023 EDITION
Hello, first time waywt post. IHSH13 chambray, brand spankin new. 666, the 18-oz variety. UES hickory cap to top it all off on a dreary Appalachian day. I wouldn’t be disappointed if the chambray shrunk a bit in length when I wash it.

@urrrrgrrrr not always easy to steer away from a common tag size even if supported by the measurements. Well done on the size down/excellent fit.
Thanks! Yeah, if there's one thing I've learned by lurking this forum for a couple years, it's measure yo shit!

RE: IHSH-13-BLU - 10oz Selvedge Chambray Single Yoke Western Shirt - Blue
Just received and quite pleased with this shirt. Fits very nearly like I want, and the MoP snaps are fantastic. This is a tag S which fits me like a IH western tag M.

RE: IHSH-13-BLU - 10oz Selvedge Chambray Single Yoke Western Shirt - Blue
Ordered—had to go down to a tag Small from my typical IH western size of medium. Ooohhh and pimped the snaps too! Thanks everyone for all the helpful advice in this forum.

RE: RIP Filthy Mike
Filthy, you are an IH legend (regardless of which forum iteration is in place) and you will be missed by all.
We only interacted a couple of times, but I gained a great deal of knowledge by reading your posts & comments. Your passion & generosity are an inspiration to me. I wish I had gotten to know you better, but I want you to know that you are loved and appreciated.
We share much—a given name, a birth year, stomping grounds (roughly), a checkered past. I’m a little bit Filthy. Godspeed.

Giving them a second boil as I type this…
How did #2 turn out? What kind of shrinkage in length did you get? Thanks for this

RE: Where does everyone live?
@hideglue Yes, we enjoyed it and yes, it was an extended road trip. We've had the privilege of being free to roam about the country for the past few years. We left New England just before the pandemic began and headed to the mountain West. For the time being we've now settled in Appalachia, but I feel the tug of the coasts more and more every day! Cheers!
