Hello, first time waywt post. IHSH13 chambray, brand spankin new. 666, the 18-oz variety. UES hickory cap to top it all off on a dreary Appalachian day. I wouldn’t be disappointed if the chambray shrunk a bit in length when I wash it.

@sabergirl @endo Yup. This is on a portion of the Appalachian Trail inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Right on the TN-NC border. One of the few natural places around that hasn’t been mined, developed, or otherwise destroyed.

Just laying on the couch and noticed this fabric has ripples like horsehide footwear gets! Only about 3 days of wear on these jeans though, so the ripple effect may not persist. Very interesting and very rigid fabric so far!

@hgering27 Aha! That’s the shirt Marc Maron is wearing in his latest HBO standup show. Been wondering since I watched it a few days ago. Makes sense because he’s from Portland. Fantastic looking on you!

The legendary “Loombreaker” duck pants, tag size 34 in the 666 cut. According to this thread, there were only 32 pairs made in the 666 cut (I’m not worthy!).

I acquired these in a swap with another forum member a year or two ago, and I am at least the third owner. They’re too big on me and I’ve never worn them aside from trying them on twice. As an aside, I have four pairs of various 666s, all in tag 34, and they all fit differently—highlighting the importance of these measurements when buying/selling.

The Loombreakers have seen wear with the usual fading evident. A small hole in the crotch has been patched with a small piece of fabric, detailed photos of that are shown. Overall they’re in good shape though.

I’ve never washed these (never worn them!) and I can’t speak to how/when the previous owner washed them before sending to me, but they do look and smell clean.

Measurements, taken the IH way of course, are as follows (note the shorter inseam):

• Waist: 17.5”
• FR / BR: 10.75”, 15.5”
• Thigh: 12.25”
• Knee: 8.75”
• Inseam: 29.5”
• Hem: 8.25”

I take PayPal F&F $250225. That price includes UPS ground shipping in the US. For international, we can work something out. These are not listed for sale on any other platform and I don’t take returns.

@GTPowers Holy hell what a fantastic looking pair of jeans! Looks like maybe a trip to Ye Olde Crotch Repair Shop is upcoming? Maybe my pair will look like that in 270 or so more days.
