@sabergirl I saw you were next in the Wabby thread! Enjoy it! I might have to throw my hat in the ring while I patiently manifest a restock haha. And yeah, I was initially quite shocked by the top block room and the kind of air pockets the really stiff Kiwami fabric creates there, but I imagine it'll smooth out and drape with wear. Has that been your experience?

@sabergirl are they the 310XX 19oz Kiwamis? Just got a pair myself. Love the high rise and proper straight leg. Will be moving onto them once my 634S hit 12 months of wear Wabby is looking sick, btw!

@americanathreads Thanks for that! You can definitely see some white streaks coming through. Certainly must given up the sulphur dye easier than some other black warp and weft pairs - or is rope dyed and the white core is intact.

@americanathreads Interesting on the fading too. I would think a sulphur dyed warp and weft wouldn't show much white core at all. My UES black/black double knees have been worn HARD as it's more grey/charcoal contrast, but they definitely aren't as jet black as the Freenote look. You got any photos of yours?

My apologies if this has come up before, but does anyone have any experience with Freenote's 17oz Black/Black slubby denim? How does it feel and age if so?

@Aetas From my perspective this could honestly be a core offering from IH, but I think chore coats in the Amekaji world are quite underrated outside of Japan, yes. Will patiently await the return of this one

@iamjustdanny great job. The HBT fades look super interesting up close. I'm sure the photos don't completely do this fabric justice either. Definitely gotta get something from these guys eventually.

After 7 months in the classic 21oz 634S, I'm deeply looking forward to owning a pair of these in the future. Looks like a great challenge
