@Aetas From my perspective this could honestly be a core offering from IH, but I think chore coats in the Amekaji world are quite underrated outside of Japan, yes. Will patiently await the return of this one

@iamjustdanny great job. The HBT fades look super interesting up close. I'm sure the photos don't completely do this fabric justice either. Definitely gotta get something from these guys eventually.

After 7 months in the classic 21oz 634S, I'm deeply looking forward to owning a pair of these in the future. Looks like a great challenge

@Darth-fader These have aged very nicely. My black ones are coming along, it's amazing how fast duck wears in compared to a twill weave

Great to see so much variety in what people connected with! I'll be tracking most of the collection, just out of curiousity and I'm headed to Japan in November, so hopefully will get to handle quite a bit of this in person. My top 3:

3. Kersey (need to try this one on in person)

@Denimhead-0 Another unsurprisingly beautiful fabric from Samurai. I got one of the elemental flannels recently in the workshirt cut and love it. It's heavier than a IH UHF and drapes incredibly well. Will share some photos eventually.

Beautiful collection and, as always, some surprises! The wait was worth it.

@Rustygate37 Definitely. They also have a good selection of Japanese domestic heritage brands that you see either none or less of outside of the country. When are you going? If your itinerary includes Ueno to visit Hinoya and Americaya 610, definitely make time to go out to IH HQ in Hachioji if you haven't already. The trek is worth it and I personally would even stay out there to get out of the inner Tokyo chaos.

@CosmoSix5 I finally got to handle the 430 SHF from last year in person recently and I agree. There is definitely a bit more heft to them. Love the earthy palette of that piece and hope to see more of that. I'm keen to eventually own one as more of a layering piece than my Riders Overshirt UHF.

@KongPrecision nice. Americaya is a great shop and a little more 'hidden' than the Hinoya flagship, though I think they are affiliated. Stoked it was an easy pickup for you. Agreed on the Osaka HQ. Beautiful store and the staff are very friendly. Much like IH, seeing the Samurai fabrics in person can be pretty mind blowing.
