RE: SEXIH25 = Self Edge x Iron Heart 19oz Denim Jeans
In case useful for anyone looking into these nice jeans, the waist has stretched about 1.3 inches after 5 days. I have the non-OD.

RE: SEXIH25 = Self Edge x Iron Heart 19oz Denim Jeans
My fit pic days are long behind me, but I went with my usual size in these after trying my usual size and a size up at SENY. Think that was the right call.
These are my first pair in the 633 cut. I like it a lot. Having a bigger rise than most cuts is important. The 888s are fairly similar but I always got hip flare & slightly baggy thighs, which is a reflection of my body type - I think they look better on other people than they ever did on me.
The 633s fit me better in the thighs. TTS means the waist is fairly tight right now (top button is no problem though) as they new but I am assuming they will stretch an inch or so in which case I will be ok. Of all the IH denims I have owned over the years, they basically all stretched except for the LHT which I think were unique. After a day I can feel them giving somewhat.
One size up felt more comfortable off the bat but looked a little sloppy on me. Hopefully it all works out. The denim is really cool, and I love the indigo arcs, dark W etc. Nice job IH and Kiya.

@babyknight Click on the pencil here:
And you will see loads of recent posts...
Indeed... just that you then have to click on each of them to see the post and then click back to go back to the list of new posts, whereas on the old forum the recent posts loaded directly and you could just scroll down and read them all. that was nice.
But like everything that changes, it just takes time to get used to a new way of doing things and i am sure we all will!

I’m sorry @babyknight but the crew refuses to answer until you post an amazing photo of what you’re wearing today standing in front of an epic view of the city. Those are the rules.
Ha! Hi Matt how's it going. Those forum posting days are sadly behind me now, I am way too shy these days.

let me take that step and see what's poppin
@babyknight Not sure if this will solve your issue.
Whilst we could migrate a lot of data from the old forum to the new, we could not migrate viewing history. So basically the new forum did not know what you had seen before. So if someone posted a new post in, let's say, the IH-634S thread, it knew it was a new post that you had not seen before but did not know how many posts you had not seen. So it defaulted to the first post when you clicked on the IH-634S thread in "Unread Topics". At that point, the new forum knows what you have seen, so the next time someone posts in the IH-634S thread and you click on that thread in "Unread Topics", it will take you to the first post that you have not read (just like the old forum basically)...
Ditto for every other thread.
Does that make sense?
No but that may be my fault for not explaining the issue properly!
On the old forum if you clicked on "Recent Posts" near the bottom (even if not logged in, so the forum had no idea what you saw before or didn't), it just showed you the most recent posts made on the entire forum. It was really great as you just saw all the action across whatever topic. It had nothing to do with what you'd seen before or not. Have I explained it better now...

New forum is beautiful and so far working well for me. I do miss Recent posts showing previews of the posts themselves though instead of having to click in to them. Only mentioned because that was the main way I read the site.
Kudos to the web minions!
Congrats to the IH team on the migration. I also used to love clicking on the Recent Posts and going directly to the posts themselves as opposed to a list of the threads... any chance the old way can be resurrected as an option? Or maybe I am just not seeing the way to do this.

RE: IH-666S-SLB - 16oz Slubby Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo
@Giles the 666 cut really looks like it was made for you… wonder who designed it?

RE: Random Rants
Sorry to hear about all this @mclaincausey . Maybe too late now but the USPS Informed Delivery app (or soon to be just website service) is actually pretty good at minimizing the risk of this happening, as you can see any mail to you scanned automatically at the service centers. Maybe something to look into.

RE: IH-555S-142ib - 14oz Selvedge Denim Slim Jeans - Indigo/Black
Quick update on my pair which have about 9 months wear and just had their third wash. They are now at the point where the tonal stitching really comes into its own!

RE: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY - WAYDT (PICS)
@501/IH:
Afternoon downpour produced a wonderful rainbow over Berlin. Didn't have the chance to look for a poto'gold at the base, but perhaps it'll bring some good luck to those in need.
Great photo and nice to see your post - hope all is well.

RE: IHSH-27BK - 12oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt (Overdyed)
Thanks @Lowlander What I am wondering if any one else has this shirt on the forum.
I still have mine @twin , almost 10 years old at this point and I think it was my first IH shirt purchase

RE: Fine Creek Leathers
Could anyone who owns the Virginia Beach and and any other FCL jacket comment on whether the armhole / bicep area is cut bigger on the VB compared to the other FCL jackets? I have the FCL Roberts which fits me like a glove and doesn’t have an overly big armhole / bicep cut, unlike many other manufacturers in my experience. Thank you.

RE: IHSH-253-BRN - 11oz Cordura® Satin Work Shirt - Brown
@neph93 glad to see you are thinking of picking this one up… it is a really good piece, very comfortable and practical. I usually wear S in westerns and XS in workshirts. Took this in XS... works well, tbh if an XXS existed it might even have worked a tad better, but we're talking on the margins.
