After 11 happy years at our Fitzrovia brick-and-mortar, we’re delighted to announce that our Old Burlington Street store is now open for business.

Situated just a stone’s throw from the menswear epicentre, Savile Row, our new home at 11-12 Old Burlington Street brings you the same curated selection of heritage-forward staples in a beautiful new space.

The new store boasts three times the square footage of our beloved Fitzrovia shop, giving us an expanded canvas to showcase our selection of selvedge denim jeans, handmade leather jackets, and bench-crafted boots.

We’ve poured our heart and soul into this space to ensure you have the best possible experience. Woodwork, metalwork, and joinery are all done by our friends at Johnson Bespoke. Their small, dedicated team in Hastings is responsible for the rails, shelves, and display cabinets you’ve likely seen in our original London and Manchester stores. They’ve gone all-out to produce beautiful shop fittings rendered in hand-worked iron and solid French walnut.

Our generous sofa is handmade in Devon, along with our fitting room benches, and our sound system hails from Glasgow’s Fyne Audio. Our full-length triptych mirror presents an impressive centrepiece that grants you a 360-degree view of your jeans to help you lock in the perfect fit.

We also enlisted Ash and Sarah of Brilliant Signs for their traditional, gold leaf window signage—just as we did back when we opened our first London store and subsequent Manchester store.

This move marks an exciting marriage of worlds: our edit of best-in-class, ready-to-wear goods paired with the Mayfair district’s legacy of fine, bespoke tailoring. We can’t wait to welcome you in and show you around.

We’re Covering Tariff Charges

We have a customer loo in the new store and pride of place in there is an original promotional poster of the first album I ever bought at the age of 12. I was transfixed by Bowie from a young age but until Heroes it was more about his clothes than the music and nearly broke my neck toppling over in my young mother's platforms due so transfixed I was by his style. Then I got switched on to the music itself with Heroes. I have another of Debbie Harry but can't decide yet if I can let her go. If we have a crazy good first month she'll end up in there too.

We’re happy to announce that our new website is now up and running.

The update mostly improves navigation and back-end functionality, but there are a few exciting additions for customers too—namely, our new Editorial section.

The Editorial section is our dedicated space for everything from lookbooks to brand interviews, product breakdowns to styling tips, fit guides to fabric deep dives. It will be your one-stop shop for short reads and long-form pieces alike. Updated monthly. It’s been two years in the making, but the launch of the new site feels like the perfect time to bring it to you.

Customers will need to reset their passwords to gain access to their accounts. Simply hit ‘Forgot Your Password?’ and follow the instructions. You can now change currencies based on location so make sure you are viewing the correct currency for your shipping location before heading to checkout.

We’re Moving to Mayfair
And we’ve updated our Sayonara Outlet

We’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be moving to a new London store location at 11-12 Old Burlington Street.

Just off Savile Row in London’s historic Mayfair district, the new store will offer three times the floor space of our current Fitzrovia store, which we opened back in 2014. The build-out is underway, and we expect to be ready by late November. Stay tuned for our official opening date announcement.

In the meantime, we need to get our current stock in order for the move, so we’ve updated our Sayonara Outlet with even more great, once-they’re-gone-they’re-gone pieces. Plus, we’ve applied further reductions on existing Sayonara Outlet items.

The Sayonara Outlet is our dedicated space for final sizes, one-off styles, and inter-seasonal pieces from our biggest brands and categories—from t-shirts to leather jackets, shirting to boots, knitwear to sunglasses. Our collaborative Flyer’s Club Jackets are new and updated, with heavy-duty quilting for maximum insulation.

Developed in collaboration with Dehen, The Flyer’s Club Jacket draws inspiration from classic military flight jackets, capturing the rugged charm of the MA-1 and B-15 designs. The body is made from hefty, windproof melton wool and the collar is luxuriously soft, genuine mouton.

The Dehen 1920 x Rivet & Hide Flyer’s Club Jacket comes in two unique setups:
Dark navy Pendleton wool with a dark brown mouton collar and orange quilted interior, and army green Abraham Moon & Sons wool with a Kodiak-brown collar and tan quilted interior. Both have the Rivet & Hide logo subtly embroidered on the inner placket for that final custom touch.

This is our warmest iteration of the Flyer’s Club to date.

Introducing Y’2 Leather
Hand-sewn, Osaka-made Leather Jackets

From the moment we set foot in Y’2 Leather’s Osaka workshop — which sits directly above their flagship store — it was clear that the family-owned brand was serious about its jackets.

Each Y’2 jacket is designed, cut, sewn, and finished in-house, but that’s not where the story starts. Y’2 work closely with specialist Japanese tanneries to develop their own leathers. They now have more than twenty distinctive horsehide varieties to their name. From smoky black sumi-dyed tannages to amber-hued Kakishibu hides to electric-blue indigo skins, Y’2 work tirelessly to ensure the natural charm of their leathers takes centre stage.

We’ve visited Y’2 Leather’s Osaka workshop several times over the last few years, and we’re excited to bring you a selection of their fine jackets.

Iron-Tanned Horsehide Double Rider's Jacket
ITR-55, Black

The Y’2 IHT-55 is a burly double rider jacket cut from the brand’s “iron-tanned” horsehide. This specially developed process involves vegetable-tanning the hide before it is pigment-dyed black. The combination of tanning and dyeing creates an expressive, jet-black finish that will wear over time to reveal earthier, tawny notes. Stylistically, this is a rider’s jacket through and through: asymmetric zip front, epaulettes, D-pocket, and that all-important gusseted action back.

This stripped-back jacket takes its style cues from the single-rider and half-belt styles of the ‘40s. It pairs a simple, classic zip set-up with a minimal front panel design; a perfect way to let the leather do the talking. This hide is vegetable-tanned before being overdyed using layers of natural sumi ink — a traditional Japanese fermented pigment used in calligraphy — to impart a smoky depth that will continue to develop a patina as you put the miles in and make the jacket your own.

Viberg’s Service Boot gets the Waxy Commander treatment, cut from heavily waxed roughout leather by the UK’s C.F. Stead tannery. The wax treatment lays the suede nap flat and improves water resistance, but as the boots wear in, scuffs reveal the fuzzy texture beneath, developing a distinctive texture and patina.

Built on Viberg’s roomy, round-toe 1035 last and finished with a Ridgeway sole using resoleable Stitchdown construction.

Mister Freedom “Trad.” Selvedge Denim
Ranch Jacket & Californian Lot. 64 Jeans

Mister Freedom drops two complementary takes on classic American workwear: The Ranch Blouse and Californian Lot.64 jeans. The Ranch Jacket draws on 1930s denim styles with a pleated front, patch pockets, and a buckle-back. The jeans keep things equally old-school with a straight, easy-wearing cut that calls back to the ‘50s and ‘60s.

Both are cut from the same indigo rope-dyed, 13.75oz redline Japanese selvedge denim. Sanforized to eliminate any shrinkage or sizing guesswork.

Mister Freedom’s Stanley Tee is cut from lightweight, extra-slubby tubular cotton jersey, recalling the military undershirts and sportswear staples of yesteryear. Cut and sewn in California, with no side seams and slightly shorter sleeves for that classic James Dean Rebel Without a Cause silhouette. This Casper Side-Zip Boot is cut from a single piece of USA-tanned Horween chromexcel. This deep, oil-black tannage has subtle grain and plenty of that signature chromexcel pull-up.
