After 11 happy years at our Fitzrovia brick-and-mortar, we’re delighted to announce that our Old Burlington Street store is now open for business.

Situated just a stone’s throw from the menswear epicentre, Savile Row, our new home at 11-12 Old Burlington Street brings you the same curated selection of heritage-forward staples in a beautiful new space.

The new store boasts three times the square footage of our beloved Fitzrovia shop, giving us an expanded canvas to showcase our selection of selvedge denim jeans, handmade leather jackets, and bench-crafted boots.

We’ve poured our heart and soul into this space to ensure you have the best possible experience. Woodwork, metalwork, and joinery are all done by our friends at Johnson Bespoke. Their small, dedicated team in Hastings is responsible for the rails, shelves, and display cabinets you’ve likely seen in our original London and Manchester stores. They’ve gone all-out to produce beautiful shop fittings rendered in hand-worked iron and solid French walnut.

Our generous sofa is handmade in Devon, along with our fitting room benches, and our sound system hails from Glasgow’s Fyne Audio. Our full-length triptych mirror presents an impressive centrepiece that grants you a 360-degree view of your jeans to help you lock in the perfect fit.

We also enlisted Ash and Sarah of Brilliant Signs for their traditional, gold leaf window signage—just as we did back when we opened our first London store and subsequent Manchester store.

This move marks an exciting marriage of worlds: our edit of best-in-class, ready-to-wear goods paired with the Mayfair district’s legacy of fine, bespoke tailoring. We can’t wait to welcome you in and show you around.

Thanks to everyone that came last night. The Flat Head came all the way from Japan and customers and friends from all over the country. A few sore heads and red eyes in store today.

We have a customer loo in the new store and pride of place in there is an original promotional poster of the first album I ever bought at the age of 12. I was transfixed by Bowie from a young age but until Heroes it was more about his clothes than the music and nearly broke my neck toppling over in my young mother's platforms due so transfixed I was by his style. Then I got switched on to the music itself with Heroes. I have another of Debbie Harry but can't decide yet if I can let her go. If we have a crazy good first month she'll end up in there too.

The update mostly improves navigation and back-end functionality, but there are a few exciting additions for customers too—namely, our new Editorial section.

The Editorial section is our dedicated space for everything from lookbooks to brand interviews, product breakdowns to styling tips, fit guides to fabric deep dives. It will be your one-stop shop for short reads and long-form pieces alike. Updated monthly. It’s been two years in the making, but the launch of the new site feels like the perfect time to bring it to you.

Customers will need to reset their passwords to gain access to their accounts. Simply hit ‘Forgot Your Password?’ and follow the instructions. You can now change currencies based on location so make sure you are viewing the correct currency for your shipping location before heading to checkout.

We’re Moving to Mayfair
And we’ve updated our Sayonara Outlet

We’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be moving to a new London store location at 11-12 Old Burlington Street.

Just off Savile Row in London’s historic Mayfair district, the new store will offer three times the floor space of our current Fitzrovia store, which we opened back in 2014. The build-out is underway, and we expect to be ready by late November. Stay tuned for our official opening date announcement.

In the meantime, we need to get our current stock in order for the move, so we’ve updated our Sayonara Outlet with even more great, once-they’re-gone-they’re-gone pieces. Plus, we’ve applied further reductions on existing Sayonara Outlet items.

The Real McCoy’s Military Training Shoes channel 1940s military footwear through premium Japanese construction. Built from durable cotton canvas with vulcanised rubber soles, these high-top sneakers are hand-cut, sewn, and kiln-fired using traditional sulphur-curing methods practiced by only a handful of factories in Japan.

Our collection of Loopwheel Athletic Tees grows with the addition of olive and orange colourways. Each tee is knit on traditional, gravity-fed loopwheelers — a move that locks in a holdfast fit and a hand-knit feel with a distinctive horizontal texture. Surprisingly lightweight and drapey for a loopwheel tee, they’re finished with ribbed, sag-resistant necklines.

Pocket Tees are newly available in charcoal, chestnut, and green. These clean and classic pocket tees are sewn up in a tubeknit, 8oz cotton jersey. Their seamless construction and a garment-dyed finish create comfortable tees with a subtle vintage edge.

The Leather Foot Support Clog draws inspiration from the classic German house shoe. True to The Real McCoy’s MO, they’ve been upgraded in every conceivable way.

Their take on things includes a premium, vegetable-tanned cowhide upper, a contoured leather footbed with built-in arch support, and a cork/rubber midsole that moulds comfortably to the foot over time. All topped off with a Vibram outsole, a hand-riveted leather strap, and an adjustable zinc buckle.

The military fatigue silhouette gets reworked in UES’ signature heavyweight tricotine. You might have seen this fabric on UES’ super-popular heavyweight work shirts. Slow-woven and increasingly rare, tricotine is a densely woven cotton twill that’s soft to the touch yet heavily structured, breaking in and moulding to the body with wear. The double rope-dyed indigo fabric will mellow and fade into a deep, layered patina over time. Here in a mid-rise, straight-leg fit.

Pure Blue Japan Waterfall Denim Type II
14.5oz, Indigo

Pure Blue Japan’s Waterfall Selvedge is something special; a meeting point of advanced weaving and dyeing techniques. Not only is this 14.5oz selvedge denim woven at lower, slub-enhancing tensions and speeds, but the yarns themselves are dyed in different shades of indigo before the weaving is even underway.

One set of yarns is dyed in dark indigos, the other set in light ‘asagi’ indigos. The combination creates a striking vertical gradation that cascades down the cloth like falling water - earning its “Waterfall” title.

The Type III was a hit, and we’re happy to bring you the timeless Type II edition.

Pure Blue Japan puts a selvedge spin on the five-pocket chino. Cut to a relaxed tapered fit, this smart-casual style is made from 12oz Japanese cotton selvedge with subtle texture and just a hint of slub. Woven in Okayama and one-washed for ease of wear, it’ll break in much like denim - softening, shaping, and developing character over time.

We’ve filled some size gaps in our beautiful Flat Head Shinki leather jacket collections - specifically on the smaller and larger ends of the sizing runs. We now have a size 46 in both the single and double rider styles, along with a size 38 in the single rider.

'50s Type II Denim Jacket
14.5oz Indigo Selvedge

This 14.5oz indigo selvedge jacket retains the classic Type II construction points, but incorporates a few stylistic upgrades. The cut is more angular from shoulder to waist, and the body is slightly longer than the cropped, boxy original. Subtle tweaks that bring the fit right up to date.

Doshaburi Jeans
18oz, Indigo, Straight

The Flat Head’s 8004 jean is an 18oz take on their straight-cut 3004 style. Woven on vintage shuttle looms, this heavyweight selvedge denim has a rain-like texture. This vertical detailing develops what The Flat Head calls a “Doshaburi” or “downpour” fading with wear. The 8004 is one-washed to eliminate shrinkage and comes with a special edition "Doshaburi Fade" bandana.

Back in white, this extra heavyweight tee is twice as dense as The Flat Head’s Plain Heavyweight series. It’s loopwheeled, delivering added durability with a near hand-knit level of texture. Good Art SS26 Collection

Good Art’s Model 10 is an ante-upping mashup of art, alchemy, and good old-fashioned engineering. It’s an in-house-forged and hand-finished bracelet that sits flush against the wrist with a subtle sway and near-frictionless articulation. The cherry on top of this new release is a goosebump motif that provides tactile feedback for the fingers and a real feast for the eyes.

Sugar Cane’s “Okinawa” and “Hawaii” jeans channel the spirit of the Pacific Islands. They’re woven from a 50/50 blend of cotton and sugarcane fibres native to their respective islands. Both jeans showcase a richly textured, neppy selvedge with a pronounced twill and uniquely deep indigo hues.

Both “Okinawa” and “Hawaii” styles are cut to the brand’s 1947-inspired straight fit: a generous top block with a roomy leg throughout. Accommodating, but far from baggy.

Each pair is finished with a hand-stitched arcuate and a distinctive leather patch that pays tribute to the islands that inspired them.

This Type II style jacket is crafted from 14oz selvedge sashiko cloth. The yarns are kasezome-dyed in deep indigo, delivering a richly textured weave that will develop striking fades over time. Traditional details like the knife pleats, chest pockets, and metal hardware stay true to the Type II blueprint, while discreet handwarmer pockets add a practical, modern edge.

Woven on the historic Toyoda GL3 shuttle loom, the 15oz fabric delivers exceptional slub and texture, enhanced with super-slub yarn for added depth and character. Despite its heft, the low-tension weave lets enough of the breeze in for year-round wear. These are cut to a classic straight fit with a mid-to-high rise and come one-washed to eliminate shrinkage.

The Noragi Sashiko Work Shirt is cut from an indigo-dyed dobby fabric with intricate boro- and sashiko-inspired stitching woven directly into the cloth. Depth and contrast abound, and a charmingly irregular character will evolve with wear. Designed in a regular fit and finished with classic workwear details: dual chest pockets, side gussets, and natural corozo nut buttons.

“Tsuri-ami” Loopwheeled T-shirts
Amami-Mud Dyed, Light Brown & Brown

These 8198 “Tsuri-ami” tees elevate a wardrobe staple with slow, methodical knitting and artisanal hand dyeing. They’re Loopwheeled in Wakayama on traditional low-tension machines, then finished with a natural “Dorozome” mud-dye treatment. This creates a series of rich, nuanced, and earthy brown tones with subtle variation throughout. Here in light and dark brown variants.

We’ve also restocked Studio D’Artisan’s classic heavyweight “Tsuri-ami” loopwheel tees in white and black, alongside the ultra-rare Suvin Gold cotton edition in white.
