After 11 happy years at our Fitzrovia brick-and-mortar, we’re delighted to announce that our Old Burlington Street store is now open for business.

Situated just a stone’s throw from the menswear epicentre, Savile Row, our new home at 11-12 Old Burlington Street brings you the same curated selection of heritage-forward staples in a beautiful new space.

The new store boasts three times the square footage of our beloved Fitzrovia shop, giving us an expanded canvas to showcase our selection of selvedge denim jeans, handmade leather jackets, and bench-crafted boots.

We’ve poured our heart and soul into this space to ensure you have the best possible experience. Woodwork, metalwork, and joinery are all done by our friends at Johnson Bespoke. Their small, dedicated team in Hastings is responsible for the rails, shelves, and display cabinets you’ve likely seen in our original London and Manchester stores. They’ve gone all-out to produce beautiful shop fittings rendered in hand-worked iron and solid French walnut.

Our generous sofa is handmade in Devon, along with our fitting room benches, and our sound system hails from Glasgow’s Fyne Audio. Our full-length triptych mirror presents an impressive centrepiece that grants you a 360-degree view of your jeans to help you lock in the perfect fit.

We also enlisted Ash and Sarah of Brilliant Signs for their traditional, gold leaf window signage—just as we did back when we opened our first London store and subsequent Manchester store.

This move marks an exciting marriage of worlds: our edit of best-in-class, ready-to-wear goods paired with the Mayfair district’s legacy of fine, bespoke tailoring. We can’t wait to welcome you in and show you around.

Thanks to everyone that came last night. The Flat Head came all the way from Japan and customers and friends from all over the country. A few sore heads and red eyes in store today.

We have a customer loo in the new store and pride of place in there is an original promotional poster of the first album I ever bought at the age of 12. I was transfixed by Bowie from a young age but until Heroes it was more about his clothes than the music and nearly broke my neck toppling over in my young mother's platforms due so transfixed I was by his style. Then I got switched on to the music itself with Heroes. I have another of Debbie Harry but can't decide yet if I can let her go. If we have a crazy good first month she'll end up in there too.

We’re happy to announce that our new website is now up and running.

The update mostly improves navigation and back-end functionality, but there are a few exciting additions for customers too—namely, our new Editorial section.

The Editorial section is our dedicated space for everything from lookbooks to brand interviews, product breakdowns to styling tips, fit guides to fabric deep dives. It will be your one-stop shop for short reads and long-form pieces alike. Updated monthly. It’s been two years in the making, but the launch of the new site feels like the perfect time to bring it to you.

Customers will need to reset their passwords to gain access to their accounts. Simply hit ‘Forgot Your Password?’ and follow the instructions. You can now change currencies based on location so make sure you are viewing the correct currency for your shipping location before heading to checkout.

We’re Moving to Mayfair
And we’ve updated our Sayonara Outlet

We’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be moving to a new London store location at 11-12 Old Burlington Street.

Just off Savile Row in London’s historic Mayfair district, the new store will offer three times the floor space of our current Fitzrovia store, which we opened back in 2014. The build-out is underway, and we expect to be ready by late November. Stay tuned for our official opening date announcement.

In the meantime, we need to get our current stock in order for the move, so we’ve updated our Sayonara Outlet with even more great, once-they’re-gone-they’re-gone pieces. Plus, we’ve applied further reductions on existing Sayonara Outlet items.

Back in Good Art’s 3A gauge, the Model 10 bracelet is an ante-upping mashup of art, alchemy, and good old-fashioned engineering. It’s an in-house forged and hand-finished bracelet that sits flush against the wrist with a subtle sway and near-frictionless articulation.

15oz Japanese Selvedge, Vintage Wash

Rogue Territory’s Strider Jeans come in a vintage-wash red-line Japanese selvedge denim. It’s structured, but nicely broken in. The finish is hand-perfected, resulting in a natural-looking fade with a pop of contrast and all the nuanced details of longtime wear.

Fit-wise, the Strider sits on the more tapered side of a straight fit. It’s got a bit of wiggle room up top, with just a touch of taper towards the hem.

The River Wash edition uses a proprietary 15oz selvedge denim that’s been naturally washed down using a low-water process. Check out the subtle oxidation at the buttons and the pops of contrast around the stitching and pocket welts—even the selvedge ID has a nicely faded quality.

The Waxed Tan Ridgeline Supply Jacket is cut from 10oz waxed cotton canvas.

Durable, but lightweight and supple, this waxed cloth has a beautifully marbled patina that will only deepen with age and wear.

Iron Heart’s IHSH-437-IND distils the best of both Western and CPO styles into one heavily textured, dobby-loom-woven shirt.

Pure Blue Japan delivers a chino trouser with next-level character. This wide-fit style is sewn up in a custom “Dry Touch” chino cloth; a crisp, airy fabric woven with uneven yarns for a uniquely textured handfeel. Structured yet breathable, it breaks in more like quality denim than traditional chino twill, softening over time while developing subtle tonal variation with wear.

The fit offers a mid-rise with plenty of room through the leg, similar to Pure Blue Japan’s 002 denim cut.

Heavyweight Raglan Sweaters & Tees
11oz, Indigo & Indigo Overdyed Black

Pure Blue Japan uses an ultra-heavy 11oz slub cotton jersey for these crewneck sweatshirts and T-shirts, giving them substantial weight and texture without skimping on the breeze.

The fabric is knit slowly and loosely to create a highly irregular, voluminous jersey that retains its shape through repeated wear and washing. Because the material is neither brushed nor loop-backed, the garments feel airy despite their heft. Raglan sleeves and naturally sloped shoulders give the silhouette an easy, flattering drape.

Available in both indigo and indigo/black, the fabric begins with carefully selected slub yarns chosen for their rich texture and uneven hand feel. The yarns are then rope-dyed with indigo, allowing the color to fade in high-wear areas and develop sharp, high-contrast patina.

The indigo/black versions receive an additional sulphur overdye, producing a darker, smokier tone. As the garments age, the black layer slowly wears away alongside the indigo base, revealing nuanced, layered fades unique to each piece.

These boots do have an unstructured toe box and do not contain any toe reinforcement material.
In terms of sizing, these boots have a fair amount of room inside to allow for an insole/thick socks if needed. We are finding that they size TTS UK sizing which is also the same as Viberg. So For example a Boot size 8 = UK8/US9

Samurai Kanoko Aimadara Work Shirt

This in-house developed fabric combines textured sashiko stitching with mottled indigo dyeing, recreating the dappled patterning of a fawn’s coat (“kanoko” being the Japanese term for “fawn”). Samurai’s “Aimadara” technique layers mottled natural indigo atop earthy copper-brown tones to achieve a unique finish that will evolve with wear.

Restocked: Otokogi Denim & Olive Two-Pack Tees

Samurai’s slim straight S0710XX is back in all its 15oz “Otokogi” selvedge glory. This denim is made entirely from Texas cotton, lending it added levels of structure and character. It’s a denim renowned for producing beautiful, contrasting fades with dedicated wear.
