Interesting perspective @Giles, I agree with that.
However, there was something missing for me about design aesthetic, quality, self image and tribalism.

I don’t see it at all. No idea what you’re talking about.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to compare three nearly identical pairs of jeans while checking the time on one of several diver watches that also look exactly the same to everyone else.

Had a trip to Austin this December fall through. Good news is I'll be allotting the dollars and PTO for that trip to San Francisco in November for the Self edge party! Look forward to seeing some of you again soon and meeting other forum users.

Thought I’d drop this here but this dude asianverified on IG does Asian Dad Cam and it’s always good. Recommend.
Always fun, spot on and done with love.

I'm back. I hope everyone will excuse my absence. Upon my return from Kentucky, I had to attend to some family things. Just as I thought everything was settled, the Sunday after my return, I was asked to work a 14 day stretch that a coworker had to excuse himself from. Two weeks and 152 hours of work later, things are finally looking more normal...
As my luck would have it, I developed a cold, Saturday. Thankfully, we were ahead of schedule, and I was given the option to take off Sunday. Which, I gladly took. I took today off, as well. There was no way I would've been able to function at work, today.
I'm going to try catching up on posts I had intended on doing a couple of weeks ago. But, it may take a few days...
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

@catdad1 I wish I could hang with you but it looks less and less likely
