I was gonna post this in the bad fit of today topic.. Blue / black / brown kinda sent me this morning, but it doesn't look to bad in the pic. I guess I am hung up on suiting rules more than I should be.

First was a 666-21 I bought from the good folks at Burg und Schild in, I want to say, 2021. I've since sold them because they became much too big for me. Replaced them with a 777-21 in 2022 from Statement which I still rock as my main pair, even though they too are running quite large on me at this point.
First shirt must have been a Johnny Cash III, which I still have though is on the chopping block because that one, too, does not fit me anymore

Day 98 on my 33-T. I was aiming for 100 days before the first wash, but the submission deadline for the next check if of the Redline Rally is coming up and I wanted to get in a wash before that
Pre wash:
I went with my usual approach. 50C hand wash followed by a 30c / 30 min / no spin machine cycle. I have literally never seen a garment lose so much indigo on first soak or wash.. absolutely crazy...
Luckily the weather was nice today, and I was able to hang it to dry on the balcony and wear it again in the afternoon. I love how its evolved, and how the wash has brought out the highlights that were starting to show
The hot hand wash has brought the shirt in exactly as I had hoped. It was a bit baggy on me before but feels absolutely perfect now.
Received my UES Tricotine this morning, which I bought directly from Japan via Buyee.
Gambled on a size 3, and I'm quite happy with the fit. The shoulders are the narrowest I can still comfortably wear, but any smaller would be too small. The size jumps seem quite big, so I think a 4 would definitely have been too big. I didn't end up saving a lot between buyer fees and duties, so not sure it was worth the trade-off. I could just as well have waited for a EU based retailer to stock it and would have had the security to be able to return it if the size was off.
"Unfortunately" I am working on a IHSH-33-T for the redline Rallye so it'll be a while before this will get it's due

Even though i've work my 33-T every day in February, its only slowly starting to show some progress. Probably because it was cold AF, I was mostly working from the home office and so I did not get up to much. The arm creases are rock solid though, and in a few weeks they will look spectacular
Still no wash, though I think the time is slowly approaching. It's also getting harder to stick with wearing it every day, and ignoring all the awesome flannels I have languishing in the wardrobe. But I know I will have to wear it much less in the summer heat, so I want to get as many days in as possible.

Look into directional freezing. You'll need a fair bit of freezer space for this. Basically get a cooler that's insulated from 5 sides and open on top, fill it with water and freeze. It'll freeze from the top down (the " directional" part of directional freezing) and push impurities to the bottom as it does. Once you take out the whole block of ice, you'll have a clear top half and a cloudy bottom half

Ultra heavy yet super soft, this is a gorgeous shirt that wears super well. Imported directly from Japan, but unfortunately it is too big for me, and returning it was not really an option.

I have just been searching for a vest for layering. Nothing fancy, canvas, maybe waxed, ideally with a bit of a lining for warmth. And I noticed how some shops and "influencers" edit the absolute bejeesus out of their pictures so that it becomes almost impossible to tell what color the garment you are looking at even is.
In this case, the same exact item. In one guys instagram outfit post it appeared to be a nice warm golden brown similar to the Iron Heart 17oz duck canvas. And in the store listing the photos were so desaturated that the vest looked more beige than brown. It took forever to find a normal image that showed what I can reasonably expect the vest to look like
Its not the first time I noticed it but this time it was really driving me up the wall.. I like to search for stuff via image search as it tends to give a broad range of styles and fits from a bunch of different shops. But I also have a list of places where, if I see their pictures in the results, I will just ignore them because I know the pictures are about as far removed from reality as they can get away with. I don't even get the end game. If I order something that is being advertised as vibrant bottle green but I receive something in a muted olive tone that I am not looking for, everybody in this transaction loses. I can kind of get why influencers do it, even if it is disingenuous, but why a shop trying to make a sale and a satisfied customer does this is beyond me..
In any case, I ordered that vest because it was only one of two articles that more or less fit what I was looking for. But I am still not sure what color I will actually receive in the end.
Not much progress to report this month. It's been cooling off significantly so my 33 has been getting much more wear time again
The one vest I would cop immediately would be an over engineered Carhartt Montana-alike.

@Bridger I once (i want to say somewhere around 2009-2011 or so) went to Edinburgh at the end of October for a Cannibal Corpse show with Dying Fetus opening. Mostly went for Fetus as I had seen CC a load of times before but never Fetus..
Halloween is not a thing in Germany so it wasn't at all on my radar, but it very much is in Scotland. The show was great, but it was made extra memorable because more than half of the audience was in costume. Super fun night.
Oh, and bad names.. Song 5 on Killing on Adrenaline is particularly disturbing..
Long time since I checked in here. I've not worn my 33-T as much in the past 2 months or so, its been often way too warm. Still the only layer piece I am wearing in the evening or when weather permits.
Had the second wash about a month ago after it soaked up some pork juice during a supply run for a BBQ. The packaging ripped and sept into the backpack, shirt and t-shirt I was wearing. Luckily, didn't leave any stains..
