Somehow I can see this becoming a TikTok challenge.

@Matt Lucky me the safe one is the only lettuce I like!

From a list of (joke) new definitions for words, these two stuck in my mind.

Am I the only one who rinses fruit and veg before raw consumption even if it says pre washed
My (rather careless) mother bought her children up on a policy of, if it does not kill you, it will make you stronger. Her 10 second rule was, 10 minutes plus or minus.....I must have built up an immunity to just about everything growing up, I wash virtually nothing and don't worry about salad or water when I travel....

@Giles Egypt’s tap water accepted your challenge!

@Giles You would have or you did? That’s is some serious tap water

Not sure anybody really cares about this, but I kind of wanted to see how long I could make it into the summer wearing 21 oz Iron Heart denim to work. Well…I definitely found the limit.
At least this year, this is the time of year when I just can’t wear 21 oz Iron Heart denim on construction sites anymore, even paired with the 5 oz short sleeve shirts. I tried it the first three days of this week, Monday through Wednesday, and it’s simply too much. Back to the 10 oz Bakers.
It’s probably more about my internal thermostat than the clothing itself. I’m sure plenty of people can pull it off, but when I’m standing in the blazing sun meeting with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, then walking in and out of construction sites all day, it catches up with me. The 80%+ humidity, especially in the mornings, probably doesn’t help a whole lot either.

@northsouthdenimguy you’re in ATL? I wouldn’t be able to do it down there. Like, any of it

-
Yeah, it’s pretty brutal down here and it’s not just the heat.

-
@northsouthdenimguy definitely commend the effort! I found my limit weeks ago and I'm convinced a UK summer is a gentler one...

-
@northsouthdenimguy people wear 25oz denim all throughout south east Asia. especially Thailand..
-
I gave it my best shot.

Everybody’s built a little differently. I’ve got guys on my job sites who don’t seem to break a sweat when it’s 95 degrees outside, while I’m drenched. I used to tolerate the heat a lot better than I do now, but these days I definitely notice it more.
I’d like to say I’m getting older, but I think at this point, I’m just old
